CHAPTER 5 - AVA MISSED IT (3)

Charlotte: "I think we need to play a game to make us happy from the sad stories we shared so far."

Rose: "Good idea."

Ava: " What game is that?"

Catherine: "Wine game!"

Ava: "Tell me of it, what's wine game?"

The girls: "We will be taken a shot of wine if anyone failed to give a correct answer to any questions asked."

Ava: "Yeah, I'm ready!"

(They started the game)

Ava: "I enjoyed the game despite being the first time playing such."

Rose: "I told you that you will love it."

Ella: "We need to talk about what to eat tonight girls."

The girls: "Hmmm, foodie!"

(They all laughed and then talked about what to eat)

Charlotte: "Let's go for noodles and eggs."

Ella: "Let's eat swallow please!"

Catherine: "You love to eat swallow, Ella!"

Ella: "It's the source of my strength." (She laughed)

Ava: "I love eating swallow too."

The girls: "Ella is not alone!" (They all laughed hard).

Food was made, and they all eat to satisfaction.

Rose: "It's a privilege to have food on one's table. I could remember how I eat whatever I see just to live." (She sighed)

Ava: "My thought also. People give me leftovers to eat and I took it with gladness." (She looked scared)

Catherine: "Please, don't let us bring back the bad memories when we just tried to be happy with our efforts. Things are bound to happen but they shouldn't be our weakness to see the brighter part of our lives."

Ella: " Yes, you're so right! We're living our best now though we aimed for more and we believe we will all live our dreams."

Rose: "I hope so. The world is daring and not that save for those without parents. (She sighed)

Charlotte: " Ella, we always tell you to be positive about yourself! We're without parents too and will never think that we can't achieve greater things just as our parents could wish. We still own our lives and we should be proud that we did."

Ava: "You are right. I've seen children living with their parents and yet they're like a child without no guard. The only difference is that they've someone they can point to as their family. Ella, we will all be fine in due time."

(They hugged her and assured her that no harm will near her in as much they were together)

It's bedtime. They all went to bed while Catherine starts a story.

Once upon a time, there was an orphan in a city. He was working with a friend of his late father as a house help. The man he was staying with was a very nice person but his wife was the opposite. The orphan discovered that on time and thereby, knew his boundaries. The man of the house wants the boy to be free with every member of the family but the wife didn't support the notion as she always reminds the boy of his status.

The boy was schooling and he did take his studies greatly. Regardless of whatever he sees at home, he consoles himself in school. He was doing that for a long time as he managed to finish his secondary school grade living with the cruel woman. He gained admission after a year and relocated to the school campus. He was free from the cruel woman and have his peace. From school, he decided if he will go back to the family or not. As he was schooling, he enrolled himself in a computer class.

(Catherine checked if they are enjoying the story and discovered that they are all asleep ). She smiled and sleep too.
