For those wondering where in the timeline this is, Trails in the Sky FC events start happening in S1202. So this is 15-16 years before canon.

"As, our son, right?"

"Indeed, as our son. To which his birthright will be kept secret to only us."

"You had to bring that up, didn't you...", Kasia responded with a hint of disappointment. She then looked down at their child and had a good look. The hair of this child was neither black like the man's was, nor dark indigo like Kasia's. It was pure violet and very vibrant. If one looked closely at his eyes while they were open earlier, they were golden. Still, despite the little child's different look, Kasia still emanated a loving warmth. She let her hand streak across his small cheeks.

"We forbade to talk about that incident, together, Giliath. I still see this child as my own, just like the one growing in my belly. I love him as our son."

"Yes, as do I Kasia my dear. I will not say I regret that night, nor will I repent it. What's done has been done, and now we have young Naoto. While he may not be of your blood, Kasia, he is still of mine. He is an Osborne, just as much as our second child will be.", Giliath responded with another rare smile, looking back at Kasia.

Kasia gently smiled back, and looked down at her big belly, only to rub it with a loving gaze.

"Yes. Though if this secret does ever get to the public, I can only fear what may come after..."

"It could potentially lead to nationwide turmoil.", Giliath simply answered, looking back down at their son as well.

"To think you would be heir apparent to that royal family, Naoto von Auslese...", Giliath replied, forming a grin on his face.

"Shush now! We don't know where the Empire may have its ears. This may be our home but our son will not go by that name. We made sure to take his name after yours. I didn't think you would be so scandalous in your youth."

"Nor did I think I would get enamored by that royal line, let alone finding out that they had a second princess at the time...It truly was a shame there were implications during childbirth."

"What's done is done. I may not ever forgive you for that but that will not put shame of the love I have for you, and soon to be our two children.", Kasia said warmly.

"...", The little child remained quiet, pretending to be asleep. But his mind was very much awake.

'I'm pretty sure I've just heard something I wasn't supposed to hear. Moreover, this man in front of me now...', I inwardly spoke myself.

Has a year already flown by after I was brought to this place? No, brought over wasn't the right word for that.

Starting life anew, not transferred. It is without a doubt,, Reincarnation!

To think I would be reincarnated to one of the stories I held dear to my heart, being reincarnated into Zemuria...

And this man in front of me is now my new father. And this woman in front of me is now my new mother. I wasn't just shocked once, not twice, but three times!

I'll have to cope with the past some day. I know there are some who can instantly forget their previous lives, but even then I had family I cherished.

But the man before me now...A rather tall man. He had a muscular build, showing that he's done quite a bit of body tempering. He was with a beard, and medium length brown-black hair. It split off from the center of his forehead, allowing to large bangs to streak down the sides of his face. If one looked closely, his left strand if hair had white streaking down its center. Not only that, his stature was firm.

Despite being in our home, which was basically equivalent to a two story villa, this man was still dressed in his military garb. He would only take it off when slept, but even then, he would still have a simple robe on.

This man...He belongs to one of the most powerful nations on Zemuria, and is one of its leading figures. No...

It wouldn't be hard to say that this man stood at the very peak of the nation we reside in. Giliath Osborne, Erebonian Empire's Chancellor! Or soon to be, anyways. Knowing where I'm currently at, Giliath is still likely a high ranking official in the Imperial Army.

And Giliath Osborne was one of the people one shouldn't cross paths with. At least not yet anyways...

The man standing in front of me was not like that. I could feel firm and resolute, yet kind and loving gaze from him. Once upon a time, he was truly a father, and it looks like I was reincarnated here to experience this.

As such, it was rather easy to find out what year I was placed in. Thanks to such a diligent father, he had already starting teaching history to just a mere one year old...

And I'm pretty sure a lot of what was covered just reading Zemuria's prehistory from his book wasn't likely available to public knowledge. Just what in the heck are you trying to show to your one year old child, old man...

But maybe my new father was right. I started babbling and "acknowledging" his words at five months old. It only took a couple more months for me to say my first words. Giliath didn't praise me a genius baby, as not once have I heard that word escape from his mouth. Me progressing like this seemed as if it was natural to him.

Still, back to where I was, seeing Giliath and Kasia as my new father and mother here, it was quite easy to know what year I was placed in. Especially seeing that big belly of hers. I had seen her belly grow these last eight months or so.

The calendar was a bit different in Zemuria, as it was based off the dominant church as mentioned in that latest lesson just now.

The Septian Calendar.

And from I could see, it was now Septian Year 1187, dubbed S1187 for short.

I was reincarnated in S1186.

Besides the leading points in history during the Septian Calendar and in its prehistory, from what I could remember, both S1186 and S1187 played important roles.

The first being the birth of one of the leading characters in the Trails franchise.

Estelle Bright. Sole daughter of the Bright family, daughter to none other than Cassius Bright.

As for the latter year, well...

Maybe we'll get to see him within the next month?

It was now April, and seeing Kasia around now around eight months in, it was likely to come.

But for now, I stopped thinking of what happened to me, letting my dreariness take over, falling into dreamland. Despite starting my learning, I was still a one year old, and my naps and sleep time were many.

Seeing me release peaceful snores, Giliath let out another smile.

"I guess we'll conclude things here for today.", Giliath responded to Kasia.

"Yes. I am also getting tired. Since we've already eaten, it's time to tuck a good boy in for the night."

"Speaking of which...", Giliath said, only to look down at Kasia's belly once more.

"Have you decided the name of our child yet to be?", Giliath asked with interest.

"Yes, our second baby boy will be named...", Kasia said with a cheerful smile.

"Rean. Rean Osborne.", Kasia announced to Giliath, declaring the name of their soon to be second child.
