(Ruby Rose Pov)

"M...Mom!" Within a gross cell, Ruby was currently crying her heart out as she hugged her mother.

Summer had a calm smile on her face as she gently rubbed Ruby's head. it was a wholesome atmosphere, that will not get ruined because I say so.

Right now, Ruby couldn't care about anything else, and continued to hug her mother. 10 longs years of thinking she was dead... And she wasn't.

"It's fine, my Little Rose." Summer cooed, gently whispering in Ruby's ear. "I'm here."

Ruby's only response was little sniffles, and hugging her tighter.

Summer could only and chuckle and allow Ruby to hug her. After a couple of minutes, Ruby finally let go and looked at her mom.

"Where were you?"

"Trapped in here." She gestured to the grimy cell room. "I was taken... and tortured." Ruby gasped in horror, as Summer could only smile sadly.

"W-why would they do that!"

"Many reasons Ruby... But it is okay, you don't have to worry about me.... It's best if you love your lif-"

"NO!" Ruby cut her mom off as she yelled in frustration. "I can't let you leave me again... I won't" Tears flowed from her eyes once again, as she looked at her mother.

"I'm strong now... I may not be strong enough, but...I'm sure"

"You mean that Ren boy? My, My, Little Rose." Summer coyly smiled, as Ruby now started to blush.

"He's indeed strong... But he can't compare to Salem. She's lived for thousands of years. He might have raw strength, but he doesn't have the skill to back it up"

Summer let out a long sigh and grabbed Ruby's shoulders. "Ruby, please promise me you won't do something foolish. Think of the others. Yang, Qrow, Taiyang... I'm sure they don't want to lose another loved one... So please"

Ruby gritted her teeth. Why won't she just let her help! She just wants to bring her back, so why!

"Ruby, please..."

"...fine" She barely spoke above a whisper, yet Summer still heard her.

"That's my girl."

[Special Dungeon Time Is Up!]

Ruby felt her conscious fade, as she hurriedly looked at her mom.

"I Love You!"

"I love you to Ruby." Summer booped her noise, as her world turned black, a smile on her face.

(Timeskip)

"Are.... you really sure you want to do this, Ruby" Taiyang nervously asked. Ruby was currently seated across from him, Yang, and Qrow.

She gave a determined nod, as the three of them sighed in sync. Qrow took a sip from his flask, and Yang spoke to Ruby.

"But why do you want to go with.... Him?" her voice still had a tint of anger. Even after explaining how it wasn't Ren's fault, Yang still hasn't fully forgiven him.

To her question, Ruby gave a complicated look. She doesn't really know why.

'I mean, Ren's nice. But that can't be the only reason. He's kind, smart, handsome... ah' At that moment Ruby finally understood everything.

"...I love him."

(Ren Ashborn Pov)

'My plot senses are tingling... There's a hint of main characters, and a dash of side characters'

I knocked on the door to Ruby's house and waited. I still feel something wrong, but what's the worst that coul-

"WAIT!" Before I could gentlemanly run away, Ruby grabbed my arm and stared at me with a pleading look. "Please don't leave."

Ruby uses Puppy Eyes!

"URk!"

It was sadly Super Effective!

"Fine." Ruby gave out a bright smile and dragged me into her house before sitting me on the couch.

"Now we can talk it out!" Ruby being to innocent to notice the tension in air let out a small giggle. "I'll go get snacks!"

'If what I know happens, those snacks are gonna take hours to get.' I watched as Ruby vanished into the kitchen, leaving with the 3 amigos.

"Ahem." Taiyang let out a loud cough before glancing at me. "...I would like to apologize."

"What."

I stared in shock, as he let out a low chuckle. "When I got a call from the hospital saying my daughter was in the hospital I panicked. When you told me what happened, I guess I was still shocked so I lashed out on you."

"Guess I did also get a little worked up." Qrow also said. Yang however said nothing and gave me a hard stare.

'Her stare is starting to freak me out..'

A sigh escaped my lips. "There's really no reason to apologize. You were just being a concerned father, uncle, and sister."

"I guess that's true... I already lost her mother, and I don't know what I'd do if she passed too." His eyes held deep sorrow, as I guess he was going through a flashback.

'...They sure do talk alot about you. You must've been the best mom of 2022, and that's kinda cool.' I stared at Summer who was currently sitting next to me.

What? Surprised? I guess that makes sense. Allow me to explain in a flashback.

(Flashback)

After I ran away from Ruby, I returned to my house, and was greeted with.

"A nice evening isn't it?" The ghostly form of Summer asked me.

I won't lie. I screamed.

(Flashback Over. I'm taking a page out of: The Huntsmen Of Red V2 on FF.)

So for the last day, I've gotten to know Summer. She explained how she wasn't dead, and was currently trapped within TLOD.... Clarent's also there.

She also told me how she met Ruby. I did hear her mention something about a dungeon key yesterday. Guess it involved Summer in some way. We don't really know how this happened, but we didn't care.

"It makes me very happy that they still love me." Summer had a motherly smile on her face.

"Well that makes sense, they care for you." My heart twanged, as memories of m parents surged.

They cared for me alot. This isn't a abused male reader x multiverse Wattpad story. It's wholesome with absolutely no sex... yeah.

"I brought the snacks!"

"Those are cookies, Ruby." All 5 of us said it in sync, as Ruby lightly blushed. Wait, how'd she make those so fast! It's only been 10 minutes!

"But there good! Did you know that nearly 93% of Remnant serve cookies as treats or after meals!"

"What does that even have to do with anything?!"

(Timeskip)

"Hey." I heard a voice behind me and turned around to see Yang.

"...Yeah?"

"What do you truly think of my sister." I raised an eyebrow. Your asking that now? Not when we were in the house.

"I guess kind, compassionate, kind of clumsy... I could name others"

"It's fine.... You do know she likes you, right?" I nod my head. There have been many times were that's been proven.

"Good." She walked up to me and grabbed me by the scruff of my shirt. "If you dare make her mad..." Her semblance briefly activated. "You wont like it."

"I promise." It obvious she cares deeply for Ruby. A sisters bond goes deep, and it shows. Willing to probably almost kill someone for their sister... How caring.

"Then were fine." her tone turned cheery. "Make sure to take care of her." And she walked off.

[Reminds me of Claire-Sama when she was younger. She really didn't hesitate to show extreme care to her sister]

'Didn't you say you were created by her specifically for me?'

[No, I was lying. I've been around for 174,430 years. Back then, Claire was still accidentally blowing up planets]

'That's a scary thought.' If she was still trying to control her power, how strong has she gotten.

Weird life I now live.
