A ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS

Kevin

We drove back to Shadowbrook after burying Diane. Unfortunately because of the situation, a morgue wasn't feasible, so burying her immediately was the best option.

The drive all the way, was quiet all through. I couldn't decipher what was going through her mind, but I definitely knew a lot of things were running through her mind.

I dropped her off and drove back home. I had a lot of questions I had to ask my mom. I wanted to know her relationship with Diane.

"Hey Hun," my mom said, smiling sweetly at me welcoming me with open arms. I hugged her back.

"Hey mom,"

"You're back early," she said, looking at me curiously.

"Yeah, done with work today," I said. "Mom, can you come sit with me please? I have some questions for you," I said, sitting on the sofa.

"Yeah sure," she answered, sitting beside me.
