Apology from an Old Friend

"It's good to be back to work, I kind of missed it" Tatiana breathed.

"Then let's get to work, we have the end-of-year party coming up. So a lot of things are going to be needed" Alex said.

"Let's get to work," she said stretching her hands.

"Tatiana how are you and Jack"

"Good, why?" she asked.

"Nothing, ma and Patrica just wants to know if you're okay with him now". She said.

"We are," Tatiana said.

It was two days to the party now. Tatiana drove to her old workplace. It still looked the same.

Her driver opened the door and she walked out. Her three bodyguards followed closely next to her as she moved into the building.

They arrived at her old boss's office, her presence had attracted most of the workers especially the old ones who knew her.

"It's Tatiana, wow she really is rich now" she heard one say.

"Wow she looks amazing"

Tatiana turned glancing at them, "I would like to say hi but am here on official business after me a few minutes and we will chat"

She walked innovative office and closed the door.

"Hello, my dear old boss"

Jack's uncle stood up, "Miss Kennel" he stammered

"Geez you still remember me" she smiled.

"You so famous it's hard to miss your face anywhere around the city," he said.

Her secretary pulled her seat and sitting down, Tatiana looked up at him, "you can take a seat"

He sat down and smiled, "What do you need Miss Kennel"

"Am here to claim my new company" she smiled.

"Company which one"

She scoffed, "This one of course, I have been keeping an eye on you waiting for you to come to apologise to me for what you did but disappointingly you never came"

"Apologize about what, I thought I was a good boss," he said.

"You don't remember, how sad. Then let me refresh your memory"

She got her phone and called someone. Soon the door opened and someone walked in.

"Boss you called" she smiled.

Jack's uncle licked his dry lips, "I didn't call you, please leave"

Tatiana laughed, "you confused Mr Heather, she works for me. I sent her here to spy on you and also collect enough information for me so I could take you down"

"I have been talking to her while she worked here, sending me information and am glad she wasn't so clever to never be caught"

"Boss I have gathered all the documents and copies of what you said that day. I was also able to get information about his illegal business within the company" she said.

Tatiana turned to the sweating man, "Hear that, she did her job so well, so let's now talk about that apology" her smile was cold but gentle.

Jack's uncle dropped to his seat as he looked at the three women in the room, for the first time in his life he felt hopeless.

Tatiana's gaze didn't leave him, "Am waiting she said".
