What Was Wrong With Him?!

Drew chastised himself for thinking something so crazy when something even crazier happened. His body acted on his urge. He reached out and pulled Mila close to him and kissed her forehead. 

He would have thought it was Leo's doing if not for the fact that he could feel his heart racing. The cat wouldn't have this sort of reaction cuddling with its owner since that was such a normal, everyday thing for the two of them. 

"Leo, are you awake?" Mila asked in a slightly surprised tone. 

Drew was frozen in shock. What was he supposed to do? He had his body back! He should immediately push her away from him and run for his life. 

When he didn't reply, she mumbled "I guess not" and buried her face in his chest as she reached up to absently pet his hair. She was treating him like a cat again and he was actively letting her this time! What was wrong with him?!
