"Grumble... needs a break. Too many pasts at once." Grumble said. As he stood up, he swayed, and Victor helped catch him. He set him upon a chair in the corner of this hideaway Leza had led them to, and Grumble instantly fell asleep.
"Everything ok, Victor?' Devotion said, seeing Victor's face. He looked ashen, like he had just seen a ghost of some sort. It seems that those visions were not as kind as he thought they would be.
"I'll tell you about it later. In private." Victor said, his face ashen. He really had seen some things that he wished he hadn't in that vision. Maybe the past wasn't always worth lingering on. It was something to think about, for sure. For now, though, Victor needed to push those doubts out of his mind. There were more pressing things at hand.
