Devotion and Ysmir travelled in this way for what felt like another two days, although there was no real way of telling. After that time of travelling, Ysmir's injury had almost completely healed. There was just a light scar left where it was, and Devotion estimated that it would fade with time.
"I still want you to take it easy, Ysmir. If we get in a fight, don't engage unless it's really life threatening. I can hold my own, I think. I feel like I've gotten a little stronger lately. Overcoming that trial gave me a bit more confidence."
Ysmir rolled its eyes. He really wouldn't figure it out.
After their time travelling, Devotion had finally stumbled on a change in scenery. Gone were the endless, flat plains of purple grass. Now, a large mountain could be seen in the distance. Bright flashes of light sometimes appeared on the sides of it, most likely signifying battles between cultivators.
