Chapter 8 – Waiting…waiting… waiting…

Woke up before dawn. Checked the mobile. Had a shower. Checked the mobile. Danced while dressing up. Checked the mobile. Combed my hair. Checked the mobile. Had my breakfast. Checked the mobile and threw it to the ground.

WTF am I doing here…

Today is the day that Jayanath should arrive in Thailand. Today is the day that I suppose to start my mission. Today is the day I was informed to have those evidence.

But nothing is there… no calls, no messages, even there was no clue of the arrival of the bastard.

Suddenly my mobile screen popped up. Ohh, thank god… I've not broken my favorite mobile due to my short temper. If it was broken, I would lose many important details.

"you should learn how to control your short temper" my dad always advised me and now I know why was that. I have to be patient in order to complete my misery.

I picked up my mobile from the ground and read the message.

"I already arrived. Just act normal till I meet you. Have to escape from their eyes." Yeah… That was uncle Jayanath, the freaky bastard.

From whom should he hide? As he told me last day, there should be some political connection with my dad's murder. I felt that those devil eyes are turning toward me now. Yeah… my mission will be more complicated.

I left that bloody mansion and flew to the University. Although I hate that f bike, I was used to that. Nothing is new to me now. I have to be used to many more things. Yeah… Such a dedication, a full-time commitment. Even from a tiny behavior.

I entered the University, parked my bike, and strolled toward the classroom. My next commitment, the fake best friend, was waiting for me. Yeah… I do hate fake relationships or pretending those stuff although I had to do it.

"Good morning, little cry baby…" I hit his head with my bag. "Ouch… you silly. It hurts" Rosh screamed.

"Aren't I correct? Huh… you always complain" I chuckled while sitting on my seat. "That's because you are so annoying. Good morning, the silly one. Had some chocolate last night?" He continued his usual chatterbox.

F*ck… you know what? I am a die-hard chocolate lover but can you believe that I totally forgot about that snack bag that was in my bag? My full attention was on the evidence that I am going to have.

" Ye… yeah… I love them." I stuttered.

" Only the chocolate?" I heard his words although it was a little mumbling. "Did those assignments?" I just wanted to pretend that I heard none of his bullshit. You sh*thead… you make me annoying and now I prefer smacking your head on the table for the hundredth time.

After a few boring yet somewhat interesting lecture hours, it was time for the end of the day. I rushed to the restroom before that annoying Mr. Angelic chased me. Yeah… He has been Mr. Angelic for a while but now he prefers Mr. Annoying's role rather than the angelic side. And I am afraid that I would be Ms. Devil in front of him. I don't wanna reveal my true personality soon.

I slammed the cubicle door and checked my mobile again. Still, there was nothing.

Damn it… Why? Why? Why? Uncle Jayanath… Ok ok… I've waited for weeks in order to get those evidence. Just a few hours to go.

I tried to calm myself and walked down to my bike as I just wanted to leave before that bloody ghost appears on my way.

F*ck…. He was coming toward me. I accelerated the bike and within a few seconds, I was out of the main entrance.

I hid myself in a small alley just to confirm that he was not chasing me. His car left the university and I saw that he was searching for something on the roadside while driving.

Well… could you imagine what was he searching for?

After his car disappears, I came out of that alley and thought about my next step. Finally, I decided to revise what I'd learned till that day. I ride through all the streets and alleys that I've searched and never forget to visit my new friends in those alleys.

For example, the restaurant staff helped me when I was fake fainting.

Ahhhh…. I don't wanna wait for more. But can't help. I had to.

This is the day I productively waste my time. Yeah… I am a professional time waster. I had a visit to the shopping mall in order to waste more f*cking time. It has been nearly forty-five minutes wasted in the shopping mall when I got a message from that dumbhead, Jayanath.

'7 pm @ Star City Hotel

Room no 235

Change your image to hide yourself.'

What??? Change the appearance? Damn it. What should I do now? I've got only one hour left. Yeah… I must do something soon.

What should I do? Should I change my appearance to a boy? My first thought was it. Nah… if our opponents know me, they probably would recognize me with that. Well… I should wear it as a girl.

Yeah… that's the best way.

I ran to the woman's outfits section to choose a simple yet classy dress. It was my first time shopping for girly stuff for a while.

Damn it… my inner feminine was trying to escape from her cage when I see those gorgeous dresses.

Finally, I chose a simple mini-tight gown. It was my favorite shade of purple and finely revealed my curves that have been hidden under male baggy clothes for a long time.

Then I selected some shoes and other stuff like earrings, a purse and much more. After changing myself into new clothes in a public restroom, I went to a nearby salon to have simple makeup. That young woman in the salon did a great job and within a short period, that caged girl was ready to have a blast. Yeah… I couldn't recognize me through the mirror.

I heat to straighten my hair for the first time in my life and Bang… I was amazed at what I looked like. My eyes were dazzling with amusement.

You silly… you are not here to enjoy yourself. Damn it… I always lose my way in those situations. Hurry up Sanjay. Your mission is waiting for you.

I didn't take my bike. Instead of that, I hired a taxi and I was able to be on time. I got out of the car wore my brand new glasses and walked toward the receptionist of the hotel.

Of course, my first few steps were somewhat awkward but my hidden girl managed to continue the rest. I must admit that my confidence also helped her so much.

"Room no 235?" I tried to keep my voice a little bit girly also. Her expressions hinted to me that she was already informed about my appointment.

"This way madam" She led me to the room.

I kept my head straight, breathed deeply, and started walking behind her with an agitated mind and tamed facial expressions.

Finally, my footsteps stopped at the door of room 234. I took a deep breath again and rang the bell.

The sound of the door lock was heard in my soul. I blinked once and the subordinate of Uncle Jayanath appeared at the door.

"Welcome to the mission, my child. Your misery is waiting for you" the voice of Uncle Jayanath was ringing inside my head while I was stepping into the room.

Yeah… I stepped into my misery.

And all we are waiting for is something worth waiting for.
