Prolog

Eileen's pov:

She cleaned the knife she just used to cut her target's throat, when her phone buzzed. A quick glance at the phone screen told her that she already had a new target. She stored the knife in her boot and looked at the name, that was lit up on the screen.

"Y/n Y/l/n. Codename: Harpy. Payment: 200'000."

It was a tempting offer. Usually, her targets were only 20'000 to 50'000 worth.

She replied with a simple yes and stored her phone in the pocket of her jacket. The lifeless body of her last target stared at the ceiling. Eileen couldn't stand it and closed his eyes with her gloved hand. She looked at the blood that was still running out of his throat. It was pathetic. She hated that part of her job. The mess that always was left behind, but that was not her problem.

Without looking back she left the building. Her sports car was parked two blocks away, so she started walking. She made a mental note to herself to gather more information about her next target. Not that she wanted any personal information about them, but she needed to study her target's habits and the location they usually hang out. That would make the assassination a lot easier.

Eileen's car came in sight and she unlocked it with her key. A huge sight left her mouth, as she sat down behind the wheel. In the safety of her car, she felt better. She hated to interact with other people, and that's why she always avoided any social contact, especially with her targets. She didn't want to know about their personal life. It made it a lot easier for her to assassinate them, but the main reason Eileen didn't want any social contact was that she was a bit of an introvert. Even some people of her gilde never heard her speak. She was known in the underworld as the "Iron Lady". Barely showing any emotion and never speaking a word. That would have been written down in her information file if she would have one.

Now she drove home and probably will try to get a good night of sleep, before she would head to the HQ tomorrow and asked her boss about her next job. The message earlier came from her hacker coworker. The hacker worked for the guild for some time now and was almost part of it, but the boss didn't trust the hacker completely. Eileen's boss trusted no one. Not even her closest friends. Eileen wouldn't trust her friends either, but she had the comfort of not having a single friend and she wouldn't change anything about that. The street light illuminated the road she drove down and she hoped that her next target would be easy to take down.

The nickname "Harpy" was familiar, but she didn't know where she heard it. Every member of the underworld had a nickname and most of them worked for the mafia or a guild like Eileen's. Eileen was too tired to think about her new job. She brushed through her long brown hair and let out another sigh.

"Who are you "Harpy?" She whispered as she got closer to her residence.

A cross the city:

Y/n's/Harpy's pov:

"These idiots." You whispered and poked the lifeless body on the ground with your foot.

"How many times did they try to kill you this week?" A woman's voice behind you chuckled.

"Enough to make me go insane." You hissed back.

You were raging and Morgan's joke made it even worse.

"No reason to be mad at me. I'm not the one that blew your cover." The black-haired woman replied in a mocking tone.

You gave the other underboss a death glare.

"When I find out who that was, I will make them suffer. Believe me when I say death would be mercy for them." You couldn't see Morgan's mouth due to the scarf that covered it, but you knew she smirked.

You knew her well enough to know how she would react. Ten years you and her had worked together for your boss and it seemed that you were at least friends or maybe not. With Morgan, you were never quite sure. Sometimes time she would tell you everything about herself and a few moments later she was cold and heartless towards you. At least she trusted you enough to let you in her bed. There was no love involved just pleasure and both of you never complained about anything. It's not like you needed her love or anything else from her, but from time to time you needed some fun and Morgan was always there to help you out.

"Let's leave before the cops come. I'm not eager to get arrested." Morgan said, as her scarf slipped down.

For a brief moment, you could see her scar, before she pulled the scarf back up. Of course, you knew how she got the scar and saw it multiple times, but it made you always shiver when you saw it. The story behind it made you shiver.

"Agreed, but let us get some takeout before we head back." You replied and picked up the gun that the assassin had tied to kill you with.

It was a nice weapon with some special modifications.

"You know we have guns at home?" You heard the sarcastic statement from your comrade.

"Let me keep a trophy, Wolf." You replied and poked her in the side.

You knew it would annoy her. The nickname was from another time when Morgan was feared by the underworld, but for a few years, she only worked from the shadows. The incident was the reason for it and most of the underworld believed that "The black wolf of the north" was dead. Lucky for your organization, she survived.

"Don't call me that," Morgan said and followed you to the exit.

The scarf perfectly covered her face, so no one could recognize her.

"Maybe we can head back to the HQ and do something more fun?" You pointed out and turned to face her.

She just raised one eyebrow and pulled her hood up. Her face was now completely covered.

"You almost got killed and the only thing you could think of is food and sex?" Siyeon asked back.

"I take that as a yes." You smirked and pulled her closer. "Or should I take you right here and now?" You added and knew that the other woman was eager.

Your charm and charisma always worked on her. You slowly pulled the scarf down and kissed her neck. Morgan didn't react, but you knew you had her wrapped around your finger. The cold night air dragged on your clothes, as you bit down on her neck hard. Her skin got stuck between your teeth and you knew if you would go on it will leave a purple mark.

"Get in the car." The wolf barked.

It was the fastest you ever saw her drive and when you arrived at the HQ she dragged you to her room. The clothes got flying and soon the room was filled with the Wolf's moans.
