"I can't bother him." Chu Jingyi knows if he calls Tan Quan, he would be placed into this mess as well.

As he was thinking about what to do, his phone rang,

"...Who is it?" Chu Jingyi's voice was wary. There have been many people calling him after the news was posted. All of them denounced him every time.

"Senior, did you not save my phone number? I'm hurt." Lu Chen laughs on the other side.

Chu Jingyi makes a faint smile, "I have to be more careful now that people are after my head." He told Lu Chen the truth. He continues,

"Junior, you shouldn't call me from now on. People might start to make weird rumors about you later."

"Senior. Stop talking bad about yourself. I know the rumors are false." Lu Chen could tell somebody was trying to ruin him. The photos only show the two holding hands.

However, it doesn't show Chu Jingyi's expression. They were photos showing only from the back view.

With one person believing him, Chu Jingyi felt better, "Thank you for trusting me. But you should still be more careful. So why have you called me?"

"Senior, do you still remember what I said to you at the competition?"
