Chapter 8 - His identity

"It's impossible you didn't find anything about Haruki at all." Lucian said with less impressed voice. Asuka nodded; didn't dare to say anything at all. Lucian wanted to know how Haruki was released from jail and how he became rich. Usually Asuka can find the information easily; but not this. She cannot find any single information about Haruki at all. She tried everything; but none of them worked. On top of that, the private investigator they hired suddenly refuse to investigate about him.

Something's fishy…

"Asuka, I will give you another chance; I don't know how you're going to do it, but do find anything about him. ANYTHING! Or else, I'm not gonna paid for your mother medical treatment and I will fire you. I'm serious. So you better do your job. Now get out!" He blew his anger towards his secretary. Asuka went out from the room with a disappointed feeling. She was sad; now either she lost a job or just do what Lucian told him to do.

She had no choice.

She then make a call.

"Hello, Mr. Tennoh. I was just wondering if you have any job vacancies at Eternal Hotel? Yes I got someone I hope you can hire."

"You made a mistake again, Yamasaki. I told you to get the file from Desk 10 not Desk 100!" Eris scolded the new appointed bodyguard for Haruki. His name is Yamasaki. Despite being a bodyguard, he seemed weak and he always being scolded by Eris. For some reason it's unknown why Haruki wanted Yamasaki to work under him since there's more better candidates.

"Now, easy Eris, today is Yamasaki's first day. Don't be too harsh on him." Haruki tried to calm his secretary.

"First day? She joined us long time ago, it's the first day he worked under you. He already worked so long under somebody else, yet he still didn't know what he should do."

"Uwahh, Eris is too fierce, help me young master Haruki!" Yamasaki hid behind Haruki's back.

"See? That's what I'm talking about! How can he fits to become your bodyguard? Are you out of your mind. Plus if he's not here, I can be your bodyguard, I'm an assassin after all."

"Calm down, Eris. Yamasaki have his own skills, it just he didn't show to you yet. That's the reason, you're an assassin. Your job is to kill someone not protect someone. That's why you're no fit to be my bodyguard."

"And the guy who loves Ramune too much fits to be your bodyguard then?"

And that's made Yamasaki almost sobbing.

"Look what you did. You hurt his feelings."

"Bodyguard should be tough, Yamasaki you acted like that again, I will kill you."

"Kill? Kill? I don't want to die yet." As Yamasaki said that, in speed light, he almost sliced Eris's neck but the blue haired woman managed to block it with her hardcover book. Luckily Eris was trained assassin, if she didn't act fast, she would be killed by Yamasaki. She was shocked with Yamasaki hidden skill. Now she's understand why Hatuki wanted him to be his bodyguard.

"Silence, let's go back to Eternal Hotel." Haruki stopped both of them. The two of them stepped back; obeying Haruki's order.

"Why? You booked Lucian again?"

"No, I heard that Tennoh san hired a new staff, so I want to meet them personally."

"Why he hired new people? I mean he only served you." Eris was frowned as they entered into the car.

"Well, we'll about to find out later."

"So, I heard from Asuka, you're her cousin and looking for a job while waiting for college." Tennoh asked the young man that stood in front of him. He's one of the new part time staff Tennoh hired.

"Yes, I wanted to save money for tuition fee. Plus I think it's good to work to gain experience first."

"That's good to hear that, uhm.. how rude I am, I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Tennoh Kurosaki and you are..?"

"I'm Hamada Haruka. Thanking for accepting me to work here."

"Don't mention it. Anyway come with me I will introduce to other staff first. Later, I have to introduce you Mr. Shinoda." The words from Tennoh made Haruka felt a bit uneasy.

"By the way I shall explain your work. We're busy preparing for an important event. A lot of people will be coming and we don't have enough people. Luckily you're here."

"An important event? For what?" Haruka asked.

"Hmm, I would love to explain more but unfortunately we don't have any information about it, except to prepare for the food, rooms, service and so on."

Tennoh then stopped walked.

"And since this is the first day, you worked here. I will give you a friendly reminder; we are not obligated to ask anything our master didn't wish to tell us. All you have to do is serve Mr. Shinoda and obey his words." Haruka felt that 'friendly reminder is like a threat; a warning so that he would not dare to investigate about Haruki. Haruka nodded.

Now I felt they hide something…

And time would let Haruka think about it deeper as Haruki, Eris and Yamasaki just arrived at the hotel.

Oh my…

"Mr. Shinoda. You're early."

"Well, I heard that you hiring new staff. Is the workload too much? Haruki asked.

"Well, a little bit. But I'm not hiring full time, only part time staff to help for the upcoming event one." The manager explained.

"Hmm, I see. So this young gentleman is one of the part timers you're hiring?" Haruki asked while looked at Haruka. He handed his hand to shake with Haruka. Haruka handed shake him back.

"Yes, he's Miss Asuka's cousin. He's waiting for college acceptance letter right now."

"Oh, Asuka's cousin, interesting. Well may I speak with you personally, Haruka san at my office. There's a lot of things I want to ask you. Shall you follow me?" Haruki smiled.

"Yes, certainly."

Haruka then followed Haruki from behind, accompanying by Eris and Yamasaki. He felt uneasy but he had to brave himself. After all it's his task to investigate Haruki.

As they entered the room, Yamasaki closed the door and guarded the door while Eris stood beside Haruki. Now, Haruka felt he's in deep trouble.

"Have a sit Haruka san, or should I said Asuka san?" Haruki shot the truth bomb. And Asuka was shocked. She wanted to stand and run from here but was stopped by Eris's strong hand force on her shoulder. It was so painful and she didn't expect Eris to have such strong power.

"Well actually Asuka is not even your real name. You're indeed Haruka, a man who hid his true gender from your current boss, Yuu aka Lucian. Am I right?"

"What? Wait I'm confused now, young master." Yamasaki scratched his head as he didn't understand the situation.

"Yamasaki, shut your mouth or I'll rip it off.

Yamasaki went to silent mode; afraid of Eris.

"How did you know about me?" Asuka which is Haruka dared himself to ask.

"Since the day I started to investigate about your boss. Well at first I felt a bit uneasy knowing you worked with Lucian, since you're man. And you're not even went to that way at all which makes me worried even more. Because I'm the jealous type one."

"He didn't want to accept my application because I was a man. I begged so hard but he won't let me. I have to because my mum was sick, that's why I disguised myself as a woman. You shouldn't be worried because I have ZERO interest to him at all."

"Well, that's what you said now. What if you're changing your mind later? Hmmm this aside. So I guess Lucian told you to find the information about me." And Haruki was right again.

"Who are you actually, Shinoda Haruki?"

"You're really want to know?"

"I don't even want to know but I have to follow what he asked me to. I cannot let him stop my mum's medical treatment."

"I see." Haruki then grabbed Haruka's hair and forced him to watch the beast side of the other.

"I don't like you're telling him who am I as I'm not allowed to do so. But, I shall help you paid for your mum's medical treatment if he did stopped paid it."

"And what condition you want me to do, I don't think you're too generous to pay it for free." Haruka stared at Haruki.

"Well, it's simple. All I wanted was to report to me every Lucian's movement. Simple right?"

"That if only he didn't fire me for not investigate about you."

"Hmmm I think you can make some story about it. I don't know maybe said I won a bet."

"That's too good for anyone to believe that."

"Let's say I worked for someone rich. That's what you're gonna told him."

"Well it's better than telling you won the bet."

That made Haruki laughed so hard.

"Oh my I like you. You're sure to know how how to joke. Well as a gift, I shall introduce myself back. My name is Shinoda Haruki, I'm Eternal Hotel's owner and also the next heir for yakuza group called Homura. The moment you know about this, Haruka san, your mum's life in my hand. So make your decision wisely."

And that makes Haruka shocked; torned up.

Now he had no choice except to obey Haruki for now.
