Frankly, Hajime had no idea how he'd be able to deal with the three men. Sure, he did take on five college students at once back then, but these guys... just one glance and Hajime could tell that they were seasoned veterans when it comes to fighting. He can take the risk, but that wouldn't guarantee him living.
'And it's not like I could just flat out ditch Keiichi here. I went through all the trouble of sending everyone away just so they wouldn't get in my way... it would leave a bad taste in my mouth if I fail here.' Hajime muttered in his mind.
That's when he got the idea.
Meanwhile, Keiichi reluctantly reached into his pockets so he could grab his credit card. To him, this was the only way. And there was no way he could rely on Hajime right now. He'd rather die than rely on Hajime— or so that's what he swore in himself.
"Do you need some help? Or can I leave you to it?" Hajime asked before the three men could even say anything.
