A Book Can't Be Judged By The Cover

Sasajima Hajime is considered to be the delinquent of their class, with his below-average grades, absences, and his knack for getting himself into trouble. The class's overall reputation went downhill because of him and to patch things up in a desperate manner, their homeroom teacher assigned Kikuchi Megumi, the top student in their class, to watch over him and try to help him. But little did she know that Sasajima Hajime's front is more than meets the eye. Disclaimer— photo is not mine but all edits are. "So I was right, huh," Kaori muttered to herself while pointing her finger at Megumi. "You were really thinking about someone, huh... is he in our class? Is he handsome?" The first few words came out as mutterings but the questions that followed were like bullets that pierced through Megumi's heart.

"Kaori, you shouldn't do that. One question at a time." Shizuka lightly scolded her before turning her head towards Megumi.

The two of them stared at Megumi for a couple of seconds, pressuring her into spilling the tea.

Megumi turned away, her clear reflection bouncing on the window panes. And Hajime, who was seated right behind her, could see her expression as well, forcing him to turn away so Megumi won't say anything. He could already hear Megumi's voice telling him 'what are you looking at?' before he even turned away. Fortunately, such a comment didn't come since he averted his gaze in the nick of time.
