Calamity in distress

It's been awhile and the night sky was aglow with bright MedCent sign lights. Q is still trying to think on what he should do: either stay there and contact his mother or call his father to pick him up. Both options are alright but since he's not usually going to be there in the countryside, he would rather visit his mother for a while and then he'll contact his father to pick him up. Furthermore, it's quite late to ask his father to fetch him up and he did not have any other place to crash other than his mother's place on that night.

He gets on his phone and dial his mother's phone number when suddenly the phone turns off due to its low battery percentage. Initially, he planned to charge his phone up when visiting Alex yet this incident happened unconditionally which messed up on his planning. He then proceeds to find his power bank which he thinks he packed them up but in reality, he did not. He tries to look around his surroundings with the intention to find any possible socket or charging station that is available.

Comes to his attention is the wall socket located inside the waiting area in the lobby at the MedCent. He makes his way inside the MedCent's lobby and sits on a couch near the outlet. He plugged his charger into the plug and charged his phone up. When his phone lights up for a second to show that it's in charging mode, he feels relieved. The assuage feeling doesn't last long until the whole sector of the MedCent lost their power all of a sudden.

"Attention all medical personnels, non-medical staff, patients and visitors. Code brown (~Hospital code for an emergency response to a hazardous materials spill or leak~) is initiated. This is not a drill. As you should experience, all utilities are now being held except for the utilities inside the emergency OR (~Operation Room~). To all staff, please refer to the code brown's emergency plan for further actions. To all non-personnels, please do not panic and follow our staff for any future instructions regarding this.", this message came out of the MedCent's speaker throughout the whole MedCent twice.

After hearing that, Q nose around to find any staff member that can help him or even give him any instructions regarding the issue. He then saw one of the two nurses at the front desk in the lobby and walked towards her.

[In the meantime]

Sylan heads back home after he's done with his shift at work and he realised that Q is nowhere to be found in or around his house since the unique-physique package is still laying on their lawn undisturbed and the house is awfully dark. Sylan takes the package inside and leaves it next to the shoe rack. Then he sits on the couch and gets his phone out to call Q yet all he gets is the automated message of a voice call. He felt a bit worried and tried to call Q several times again until he remembered that Q did tell him that he was planning to visit Alex at the MedCent. He thought to himself that maybe Q overslept at Alex's ward and did not get back home. Afterall, Sylan prepared himself to sleep that night and hoped that Q would be back tomorrow morning.

What Sylan and even Q did not know is that the unique-physique package has started a twenty-four hour countdown. Mayhaps it is a bomb or even another puzzle to be diffused or solved in order to stop the initiated countdown.

[Back at the Pongo Countryside Medical Centre]

"Umm, can you help me miss?", asked Q to one of the nurses stationed at the front desk.

"Are you lost, injured, sick, or ill in any way dear?", the nurse asked back to Q.

"Kind of but not really~", replied Q with a slow and confusing voice.

"Well then, kindly be seated first and we will attend to you as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused since we are also trying to get any latest and updated information regarding this issue and situation.", replied the nurse while busy doing her work with calling the management and other staff.

Q wanted to say something but seeing that the nurses are busy, he's taken aback by what he wanted to do. He then stays seated at the seat just like what the nurse asked him to do and observes the situation silently while feeling a bit sleepy. It wasn't some time until Q fell asleep on the couch at the MedCent's lobby. Someone latterly approached Q and sat beside him on the couch. They looked at Q silently and just kind of stared at him for a while. Then, they put Q's head on their lap while starting to caress Q's hair.

The very next morning, Q woke up from his sleep and found out that he fell asleep on the lobby's couch with a pillow and hospital blanket. Comes to his surprise that someone he is close with is right next to him that seems like waiting for him to wake up.

"D... Dad? Wh.. what are... how did you even get here?", asked Q unconsciously.

"What? You didn't want me here, huh?", replied Sylan with a sarcastic reply.

"N.. no, but…", replied Q while rapidly trying to stand up but he sat down again because he felt a bit dizzy when doing so.

"Alrighty, take it easy boy. Easy… easy~", said Sylan spontaneously while helping Q to sit back down again.

When Q sat back on the couch, Sylan noticed that there's one note that fell down to the ground and he proceeded to pick him up. He did not actually know what it was to mean, then asked Q if the note was his. Q was left dumbfounded when he heard that question yet he took the note to himself without answering his father's question. He reads the note and he knew that it was meant for him in his current situation based on the note itself.
