Chapter 22: "King Naseem Meets Prince William"

One month had passed since Prince William and the others went back to the ruins of the city and drove out the oppressors and liberated the people, the work on the castle and its surroundings were in full swing, the people were happy, and things were going good after so long, life was coming back to the city.

William had asked Francis after he got back from his village to trail Zeph so he could know where he is when the time had come for him to catch up with Zeph, "Rose, remember we are leaving early tomorrow morning, so don't overwork yourself today," said William.

"Yes I remember and I will take it easy, did you hear from Francis?" asked Rose, "yes, Zeph stopped in a village not too far from the city so by the time we leave here we should be able to catch up to him," said William.

A fanfare could be heard playing it caught the attention of all who were in the city, the King of the East Kingdom King Naseem had arrived and he brought with him some of the people whom he had taken captive ten years ago, William, Rose, and Thomas along with a few other people went towards the entourage, " introducing his Majesty King Naseem and his company Major Smith and Colonel Sterling of the East Kingdom."

They were surprised when the king came out Rose saw an ominous aura around him she could feel the presence of something very dark, it was scary, she then whispered to William, "do you see that?" William replied, "no but there is something off about this guy.

"You must be Prince William, you resemble your father," said King Naseem, William then said " don't speak of my father," King Naseem said, "I'm sorry if I offended you, what happened here was a big mistake," "what do you mean by a mistake, killing off innocent people isn't a mistake furthermore what do you want here, your presence is making the people uncomfortable," said William.

"I came bearing gifts and also the people that were taken from here," said King Naseem, "what, are you serious, where are they?" asked William, "Release them," said King Naseem, the people who were taking away ten years ago were brought back, "Is this all the people, and where is my sister?" asked William.

"The other sets of people are in the West Kingdom along with your sister Princess Deana, I have already sent word to the King of the West Kingdom about releasing your sister and the others who are held captive, upon your arrival," said King Naseem.

Rose whispered to William "I don't trust this guy William, why is he being so nice to you," I don't trust him either Rose but I would like to get my sister and the other people who belong to this kingdom back," said William to Rose.

"I must take my leave, it was nice meeting you Prince William, you can come and visit the East Kingdom anytime you like," said King Naseem as he was leaving.

After the King had left the people that were brought back bowed to William, "we heard rumors of your existence young Prince, we hoped in our hearts that it was true and here we are, it is good to be back home after ten long years," said one of the elders, William smiled and said, "I'm happy that you are all back home safely, go and find your relatives they will be overjoyed to see you all."

Rose then said, "I knew what they were feeling, to be held captive and then freed is a wonderful feeling, thank goodness King Naseem is gone, his presence was eerie, William I don't trust him, it could be a trap."

William said "I know but we have to expect anything, we have to find Zeph so we can all head towards the West Kingdom, I know my sister and the others are expecting us.

On their way back to the East Kingdom, "so that's the little runt that defeated my Luitenents and soldiers," said Colonel Sterling.

"He doesn't look like much, even I could have taken him down but we know better to never underestimate an opponent," said Major Smith, "that's true Major, even though he doesn't look like much his power level is on par with our Luitenents, I think he might even be a match for you as well if it comes to the test," said King Naseem.

"What!?" shouted Major Smith, "don't worry plans are in motion so you won't have to fight with him, it would hurt your ego if you were defeated by a child, I know," said King Naseem.
