Holding the gem containing Shukaku Chakra in his hand, Takeshi couldn't help but ponder a new idea.
"What if I utilize my devouring energy to refine the tailed beast chakra? Could it amplify the amount of chakra and even grant me the energy and special abilities of the tailed beast?"
Upon analysis, he recognized the tailed beast Chakra as an energy entity with its own will. It possessed high-level abilities and even its own "life." Yet, wasn't his cultivation method centered on devouring alien energy and seizing the energy of blood to enhance himself?
Takeshi had never contemplated acting like a typical human. Tailed beasts were avatars of the ten tails and concealed the will of Kaguya Otsutsuki. Collecting the chakras of the nine tailed beasts could awaken Kaguya Otsutsuki, bringing about endless troubles.
Borrowed energy was not truly his own; it attracted public criticism and harbored significant hidden dangers. Takeshi was no "son of destiny." Once ordinary people became Jinchūriki, many met miserable ends—Naruto and Killer B included!
That's why Takeshi harbored no desire to become a Jinchūriki. He had no interest in playing house with tailed beasts. People's hearts were unreliable, and those behind you could betray you. Only his own strength would remain loyal!
Examining the scepter in his hand, Takeshi placed his fair hand on the yellow gem, initiating his attempt.
"Hmm...! Such a mixed will!"
Initially, Takeshi aimed to use standard cultivation methods to refine these energys. His immortality cultivation involved absorbing various energies from heaven and earth, refining them into his true essence, remnants of celestial chakra.
Yet, Gelel's Stone was essentially condensed from the rhizomes and trunks of the God Tree—a part of the chakra discarded after the Ten Tails absorbed the natural energy of the Naruto world. This chakra, despite being of a higher level than the tailed beasts, lacked "life" and consciousness. Once used, it vanished.
Chakra, guarded by Sage of Six Path, retained part of its will. Takeshi sensed mixed emotions—predominantly negative, such as hatred and anger, along with scattered thoughts. Attempting to absorb it all at once made him shudder and feel repulsed.
Shukaku's chakra, even this small portion, lacked complete consciousness. Only the nine tails, split by Namikaze Minato, possessed two independent consciousnesses. Other chakras carried only emotional and spiritual energy.
For instance, the nine-tailed chakra in the golden horn and silver horn couldn't communicate with them, merely a negative energy. While safer, it required withstanding the invasion of negative will to use the tailed beast Chakra. However, the main part of the tailed beast could choose not to assist or intentionally cause trouble.
A fatal flaw emerged when becoming a real Jinchūriki—linking the will of the tailed beast and its chakra closely with the host. If the tailed beast was taken away, the host would inevitably die.
Tailed beasts embodied immortal and indestructible energy but couldn't endure the immense blow to their mind and body that came with losing their will.
Takeshi contemplated his reluctance to become a Jinchūriki. Despite the immense energy and immunity to many illusions offered by a perfected Jinchūriki, the associated costs were deemed too exorbitant by Takeshi.
He sighed, acknowledging the substantial energy within the small gem before him. Comparable to all his chakras combined, this gem's potential was hindered by the interference of negative wills, making absorption nearly impossible.
Could it be that Kaguya Otsutsuki's hidden will lingered within? The uncertainty weighed on Takeshi's mind. If future absorptions mirrored this experience, would he be destined for a fate akin to Madara Uchiha? The safety of the protagonist, Naruto, did not guarantee Takeshi's well-being.
"Conventional cultivation methods are ineffective. Could it be that this can only function as a solar cell?" Takeshi mused while gripping the gem-encrusted scepter. He attempted to absorb every trace of chakra, a substance created by tailed beasts absorbing natural energy, which proved easier to assimilate.
Tailed beasts generated limitless chakras, potent and virtually free of negative will. Yet, Takeshi noticed a slower recovery rate compared to the complete bodyguard cranes he had encountered. The absence of independent will in this chakra segment hindered its regeneration, relying solely on instinct.
The revelation explained the tailed beast's extended revival time after being scattered. The lack of self-consciousness in the scattered chakra mandated a slow, instinct-driven restoration, influenced by local natural energy intensity.
"In this manner, the resilience of the nine-tailed chakra possessed by the golden horn and the silver horn should be inferior to that of a genuine Jinchūriki, despite their use of the most potent nine-tailed form."
Takeshi pondered the drawbacks of the pseudo-Jinchūriki, relying on six bloodlines to bear the nine tails' energy. Safety was compromised. Through analyzing the tailed beast chakra, Takeshi gained insights into their nature, the energy of the Jinchūriki, and even Kaguya's future influence. This knowledge prepared him for dealing with these entities.
"The conventional approach seems ineffective. How about utilizing my devouring energy?" Takeshi contemplated, opening his palm to gather the energy of White Scaled Snake. Rubbing the gem that seemed to emit a constant roar, he hesitated.
Devouring energy, one of his most potent abilities, could directly alter bloodlines, enabling evolution. However, tailed beast chakra, deemed too "dirty" and advanced, presented unpredictable outcomes.
"Humph! It's just a small portion of tailed beast chakra. Why hesitate?" Irritated, Takeshi decided to unleash his devouring energy. The gem, harboring negative wills, would succumb to the soul flame, a unique spiritual energy capable of burning even the soul.
Takeshi's pupils glowed scarlet as a cold, frenzied expression emerged. A cold flame ignited on his hand, burning in the void with an eerie glow.
"Once consumed by the soul flame, this segment of Shukaku Chakra will dissipate. Though regrettable, it is necessary."
Without further hesitation, Takeshi covered the gem with his soul flame.
