Chapter 194 : Shukaku's Power!

The Chakra within the Tailed Beast, burdened with numerous negative wills, shall now be purged!

Takeshi's eyes gleamed with determination, and his hand moved with purpose.

"Haha!"

As though immersing a red-hot iron in water, wisps of white smoke rose from the yellow gem, enveloped by soul flames.

"Ouch—!"

The soul resonated with painful cries as the gem violently writhed. The voice distinctly belonged to Shukaku.

"It seems effective! Attacking with soul flame does indeed impact the Tailed Beasts Chakra!"

Takeshi wiped his brow, sensing a rapid depletion of his mental energy.

Considering Namikaze Minato's use of the Reaper Death Seal to confront the Nine-Tails, it implies that the energy of the soul can influence the aggregation of a Tailed Beast's energy and will.

Even with just a single tail, the accumulated negative will over millennia is immense, demanding a substantial expenditure of Takeshi's spiritual energy to purify.

"The quantity of the Tailed Beast's will is truly staggering. One can hardly fathom the hatred within a complete Nine-Tailed entity. Ordinary individuals would likely lose consciousness instantly!"

Takeshi examined the yellow gem in his hand, feeling a twinge of anxiety. When it was released during the "life and death" struggle, it exuded formidable pressure. A khaki shadow emerged from it, casting a dazzling light that trembled the entire space, dust cascading like the fury of a desecrated supreme being.

"Halt! Insignificant ant!"

An ethereal voice echoed from the void, its androgynous tones inscrutable, akin to a God judgment.

In response, Takeshi activated numerous shielding techniques within the base, concealing his aura with a hastily summoned true essence.

"Damn, didn't expect such a spectacle to nullify the energy of so many Shukaku. Is it the Ten-Tails? Or some lingering entity?"

Takeshi intensified the soul flame, causing the once-quiet stronghold to flicker. His techniques, imbued with the essence of natural energy, now seemed necessary. Even though these Tailed Beasts lacked clear wills, destroying them might still release peculiar spiritual fluctuations.

"Cease… despicable wretch..."

Another voice emanated from the void, weakened, shifting from a lofty roar to a melancholic moan.

"Hmph, just a deluded will making empty threats!"

Takeshi sneered, the gem surrounded by brilliant white flames, now exhibiting cracks.

"You call me insignificant, but how mighty are you?!"

Takeshi bellowed, awakening the fierce aura of the white-scaled snake in his blood. A cold, majestic light surged from his snake pupils. Simultaneously, vines infiltrated the radiance, invoking the energy of Wood Release to firmly suppress the Tailed Beast Chakra.

As if struck by a colossal blow once again, the energy of the assembly became entirely sluggish. Takeshi squeezed it tightly, and with a resounding explosion, the gem containing the Tailed Beast's chakra vanished within the soul flame.

"Ouch—"

A faint cry lingered as Shukaku's negative will was eradicated. The original yellow energy of the homeland transformed, purified and radiant, coalescing into a cluster of amber light in the air, gleaming brightly.

"Haha, successfully overtaken, haven't you?"

Takeshi wiped away his sweat, the refinement of these chakras consuming the majority of his mental energy. The challenge of refining the chakras of the Nine-Tails seemed almost insurmountable.

Takeshi gazed at the swirling mass of energy before him, contemplating the intricate and formidable nature of the tailed beast's will.

As time progressed, it became increasingly complex, dark, and vast, far beyond the comprehension of mere humans. The enigma of how Madara and Obito managed to control such a force lingered in Takeshi's thoughts.

"The augmentation of this energy is notable. Could it be that the will expands after its destruction?" Takeshi pondered, his scepter-like instrument in hand. Shukaku Chakra, suspended in the air, was skillfully absorbed and then reinjected into a pristine storage gem.

Takeshi invoked the chakra storage technique from the "Book of Gelel" once more, sealing the golden gem with precision. This process diminished Shukaku's energy significantly; the original Chakra might never fully regenerate, and the will to erase would vanish completely. However, compared to the colossal energy of the main body, the loss seemed relatively minor.

To eradicate the Chakra of these tailed beasts, Takeshi relied on a soul flame akin to an open beacon and a spiritual prowess far beyond that of ordinary individuals.

The laborious nature of this task, akin to traversing thin ice, illustrated the immense difficulty in destroying these formidable creatures. Over millennia, the tailed beasts' energy had undergone various losses but generally remained at a certain level.

"Now is the time to reap the fruits of victory!" Takeshi exclaimed joyfully, gripping the gem with excitement. Sensing the surge of energy, he eagerly consumed it.

In the past, the God tree's chakra manifested as an exceedingly gentle force, fostering rapid plant growth, prolonging the lives of ordinary individuals, and healing various ailments. Takeshi had even harnessed it to awaken Wood Release.

Shukaku's chakra, on the other hand, primarily harbored the potent forces of violent wind escape and the earth attribute. Unbeknownst to Takeshi, it also contained traces of Shukaku's seal energy.

"Rapid—!"

As Takeshi absorbed the chakra cluster, the once pristine laboratory transformed into chaos. Sand and rocks filled the air, and a fierce wind howled within the enclosed space. The previously clean floor was now covered in layers of sand, and the jar, forgotten and toppled, shattered into fragments. Yet, Takeshi paid no heed.

"Jing—!"

"Merge with me!"

Veins bulged on Takeshi's pale skin as he exerted every ounce of his devouring energy. Surprisingly, Shukaku's Chakra proved stubborn to assimilate, far more challenging than the God tree's Sage Chakra!

Takeshi gazed at the swirling chakra before him, a manifestation of the immense energy contained within Shukaku, the tailed beast. The lab, strewn with the aftermath of his prolonged efforts, bore witness to the intensity of his task.

For days, he had immersed himself in the art of devouring, testing the waters of this conspiracy-laden tail-beast chakra, realizing its pivotal role in his future plans.

"It seems that swallowing the chakra of Shukaku, even in its refined state, poses a significant challenge. Truly befitting the potent force wielded by the Kazekage's prized tailed beasts," he mused, a hint of respect in his voice.

The gravity of the situation wasn't lost on him. This endeavor was not just a mere experiment; it held paramount importance for his grand designs.

A voice echoed in his mind, disrupting his concentration. "Having trouble with that, are you?"

Startled, Takeshi recognized the voice as that of White Scales, the sentient consciousness residing within his mind. Relief washed over him, realizing he wasn't alone in this endeavor.

"Is that you, White Scales?" he inquired.

A playful chuckle resonated, "Surprised, aren't you? I guessed you'd be quick to tangle with the tailed beast. Quick, but predictable."

Takeshi couldn't help but chuckle awkwardly. "Well, I didn't expect you to be so observant."

"Your rapid rise in strength is impressive, though perilous. Your low-key approach does little to mask the dangers you court," White Scales remarked nonchalantly.

Takeshi remained silent, aware that the path he trod was fraught with risks. He could have chosen the steady path of cultivation, avoiding unnecessary exposure. Yet, he understood that certain opportunities, once missed, might not present themselves again.

The specter of Akatsuki's looming establishment weighed heavily on his mind. The organization's watchful eye over the tailed beasts would make any clandestine acquisition of chakra a risky endeavor. The impending appearance of Madara Uchiha's Rinnegan only added to the urgency.

"Time waits for none. Sometimes, risks must be taken to secure the future," he thought, contemplating the delicate balance between caution and opportunity.

"Boy, even if you manage to swallow it, digestion won't come easily. But you're too slow; let me lend a hand," White Scales interjected, a surge of bloodline energy emanating from Takeshi's body.

A renewed vigor coursed through him as the remaining Shukaku Chakra swiftly merged with his own. The room vibrated with energy as Takeshi stood, fists clenched, unleashing a torrent of energy that surged through his being.
