Constrain

There were so many things on Blair's mind at the moment.

She hadn't expected Conrad's confession, and that was a fact. Never in her life would she have guessed that he had developed feelings for her. It was hard to believe, considering Blair hardly spent time with him. 

The only times she would usually come into contact with him was when he would send out a summon. He had seen her suffer and cry over her circumstances several times, and that was probably why he had developed some sort of sympathy toward her. 

Still, Blair just didn't understand what Conrad was thinking.

At the very least, she could tell that he had changed. Before, she was intimidated by the fiercely ambitious look in his eyes, and now, she could see nothing but genuine sincerity. Without her realizing it, he had changed.
