"I never thought your father was actually like that. He truly does love you, Blair. He agreed to our crazy idea because he wanted to see you happy. Now, that's a true dad right there." 

Blair still had a hard time thinking this was all real. Just a few days from now, they were finally going to live together in this huge apartment. At this moment, she was having a glimpse of what it would be like, all the while being comforted by Cadmus's loving voice. She had not expected things to go so fast. 

'I'm glad that Papa and Mama were able to understand. I'm glad that Cadmus and I are together for good.' 

She hoped things would remain well between them, and while she knew that their lives would never be perfect, she at least hoped they would finally get the peace that they had been seeking.
