The Call (2)

Hearing what her mother said, Yu Yan's eyes turned cold. In truth, AC mine has not been that profitable for the past few years and the profit she got from there was not much. On the other hand, Kang Mao Lan and Yu Xin both obtained shares from the more profitable mine, AB mine.

The mine could even give them a few million yuan per year even though their profit share was not that big.

And yet, these greedy pigs were still aiming for her share.

"Pay for her hospital fee? Why should I pay for her hospital fee?" Yu Yan asked back coldly.

"YOU B*TCH! You're the one who caused the wounds on her, so of course you have to pay for her fees. Do you think just because…"

"Do you want me to sue you, Mother?"

Kang Mao Lan paused for a moment. The voice that came from the call was so cold as if artic couldn't even come close to it. For a moment, she did feel some pressure creeping on her back for some unexplained feelings. Before she could continue speaking again, Yu Yan had continued.

"You should be grateful that I didn't sue her for trespassing into my apartment. Do you think that the law will be blind? I thought that a nasty thief had entered my apartment, so I obviously retaliated."

"You! Who are you calling nasty thief?" Kang Mao Lan was enraged once more.

"Whoever comes uninvited and even mess up someone's else bedroom." Yu Yan's voice was even colder than before.

"You…"

"Enough! Give me the phone, Mao Lan!"

Yu Yan arched her eyebrows when she heard the low tone. She recognized that voice to be her father. Her father, Yu Zheng Tong, was a businessman and married her mother because of her inheritance. The two of them didn't really love each other but they were together because of the profit they could have by tying ties together.

She had already learned about it ever since she was young, so she was not surprised to hear the two of them argue.

They had done it countless times in the past.

"She's such an ungrateful daughter…." Yu Yan still could hear her mother complaining when her father's voice came in.

"Yu Yan, return back home at once."

"No."

"You…"

"Father, didn't I already tell you before in the past that I will not return back home?" Yu Yan asked back coldly. "What, are you going to say that I should be filial and return back home to a place where no one even greets me?"

Yu Zheng Tong was silent for a while. "Just pay for Xin'er medical fees and we can settle this matter."

"Settle this matter and let me have a loss? Do you even know that the one who slept with Yu Xin in MY apartment is my boyfriend? Oh wait, he's no longer my boyfriend but only ex-boyfriend. Do you really think that using other people's properties and breaching into their house is not a crime? If you don't want me to sue the two of them for trespassing into my apartment and using my bedroom as they wished, you better stop asking the impossible."
