Elma is like an anti-heroine, she became tough and selfish because life made her that way” “And I am selfless because my parents raised me that way, I think she is the better version of this twins. She is the heroine and I am just a supporting character, she got it all and I crave for everything which is hers” “So who better to tell the story than me? A Daughter

Sarah's POV:

Elma walked back towards us; she flipped some strands in her hair, and then her gaze moved to me. "The doctors will stay, but I am going back to my life and making things right. I am done with you, Sarah Finn; never show your face to me again," she warned, and walked to Jacob.

"You are investing in the wrong person; advise her to return to her slums and never show herself again," she added, and Jacob nodded. Then she walked back to me.

"My phone," she said, extending her hand, and I remembered that I had left my bag in the car.

"It's in the car."

She scoffed at my face and left. I felt a lot of pain when I realized I wouldn't get to see Anthony and the kids again.

My legs felt weak, so I sat on Jacob's couch, cupped my face with my palms, and sniffed back my tears. Why was I feeling sad? This is what I have wanted—to return to being me.
