Chapter 47: Conquering the World

Alexander stopped his laughing as he saw that the Veela matriarch was losing her patience with him. Alexander said, " I am the emperor of a magical empire and the contract ICW officials signed made them and all those governed by them my subjects and my subjects hold absolute loyalty to me. You can ask them if you want."

The Veela matriarch turned towards Dorea Potter and her friends and they nodded in confirmation. The Veela matriarch let out a deep breath and turned towards Alexander, " What do you want from us?"

Alexander, " Your race is the only race that is left on this side of world which has not submitted to me. If you are afraid that I would do unsavory things with you and your race, rest assured, I have no plans of mating with anyone whose bloodline is lesser than me. You can join me or you can join the goblins."

The Veela matriarch had a look of outrage on her face at the comment on her bloodline but took a deep breath and said, " What about vampires?"

Alexander, " I don't like vampires so they would be exterminated to the last person."

The Veela matriarch said, " What about the goblins? Have they not submitted to you?"

Alexander, " The goblins were not given the option of submitting. Due to the atrocities, they committed on the elven race, they were all killed till extinction."

The veela matriarch continued in shocked tone, " You killed all the goblins. But when? The Gringrots in France is still managed by Goblins."

Alexander, " You can ask Dorea about this." Alexander then send a pulse of magic into Dorea fully healing her from the injuries, she sustained in the war. Alexander didn't wanted to disclose such personal details in front of so many people, just transferred the knowledge of healing to her mind. Dorea let out tears of happiness and said in a shaky voice, " Thank You, your highness."

Charles, " What happened, Dorea?"

Dorea tightly hugged Charles and said in a happy voice, " His majesty healed me, Charles. I will be able to bear children."

Dorea's declaration brought out cries of appreciation from her husband and her friends. Alexander did not want to intrude on such a private scene, turned towards the veela matriarch and said, " You confirm with them, later on." Alexander then shifted to the throne and said, " Bring me the people who had not bowed."

Soon, twenty people were brought in front of him. Alexander examined them and found that they were mixed like some were from Asian countries, some were from European countries, etc. Alexander said, " How many of you are spies of the magical empire of India and magical clans of China?"

Nobody replied. Alexander sighed and said, " So, you all want to take the hard way. Okay!!!"

Alexander turned to Carter, " Take them to the interrogation chambers and after they have told you everything, make them submit to me."

Carter bowed and left with the people. Alexander shifted to London and started his conquest of non magical Britain. Alexander did not wanted to waste time, casted city wide compelltion charm to make people say the magic words, ' We submit to King Alexander '. When Alexander found some people with strong wills, he just increased the magic in compelltion charm till they submitted.

Alexander had already conquered the European countries but still some places were left so Alexander then conquered them. In few hours, Alexander's conquest of Europe was complete. Alexander then turned towards America. It took Alexander 2 days to conquer America as every gypsy tribe living in the forests of USA challenged his claim. Alexander was quite frustrated at their persistence but Alexander also gained the experience of fighting against poisons, traps, soul curses, spirit beasts, illusions. These magics we're the ones which were mainly used by the gypsies.

Alexander moved back to his kingdom and integrated both the continents with his kingdom. Now, only Asia, North Pole and Antarctica were left to be conquered. Alexander moved to Antarctica and conquered it. Antarctica had some magical plants and animals unique to it. There were some dragons also sleeping deep inside the icy caverns. Alexander did not disturbed them but added them to the list of collection. Alexander then moved to North Pole and similarly found plants and animals unique to that place. Alexander conquered North Pole also.

Alexander had not allowed the world to know the happenings of the duel or more importantly, he had not made the magi of east aware of the events if the duel. According to the ICW statement, the terms of the duel were being discussed till now as both the parties were equal in power and both wanted undue advantage over each other. The people were not allowed to go home in order to prevent any side from placing their extra men in the stadium and also no communication was allowed with the outside world in order to prevent Alexander's forces from causing mayhem in the wizarding world.

Alexander returned to the stadium and called the veela matriarch to him. Alexander knew that the matriarch of the veela race had a strange custom. The veelas who were elected to become the matriarch signed a charter which sealed away their memories till they remain in their position in order to prevent them from favouring their families and friends. On the other hand, the families were also forbidden to enter the Veela colonies to meet the matriarch. This was done because in the past, a matriarch had literally sold her opponents to wizards as pleasure slaves, in order to prevent such events happening again, these steps were taken. Alexander could not understand the logic behind such actions as a simple magical vow would have sufficed but the veelas of that time were gripped in terror and anger which made them do some drastic things. The veela matriarch was addressed by her position in order to further reduce any chances of recalling of sealed memories.

The Veela matriarch arrived with a group of veelas surrounding her. Alexander knew that these veelas were her advisors and bodyguards. Alexander said, " So, what is your choice, submission or extinction?"

The Veela matriarch smiled bitterly and said, " We submit." Alexander felt 80,000 veelas being included in his subjects. Alexander smiled as with this his conquest of the majority of the world was complete in terms of landmass but in terms of population he had only half of that under him. Alexander then turned to veela matriarch, " You don't need to worry as there is no discrimination among my subjects. Also, people can change their race to veela if they want but the process would be painful. We will research why the veelas only have daughters as I don't want the veelas to be dependent on others to increase their population."

As Alexander was planning his next steps, a thought occured to him, " Where the hell, is Tom Riddle?"
