Vol. 4 - Chapter 6: Being Brave Enough to Protect Someone

Part 1 – Shopping District

The giant serpent begins to disappear but Ahide is absorbing its manna, suddenly a bright light shines. Ahide gets covered in manna making armor. As the light disappears, the armor is reveled to be golden, with the head of Quetzalcoatl as a helmet. The armor is 2 meters tall (7 feet), has feathers in its arms, it also has green and red feathers in the helmet. The eyes of the armor are blue. Ahide extends his right arm and a large sword appears. The sword has a golden blade with rectangular patterns flowing in it representing a snake. The hilt is also golden but with a large circle in the middle followed by small circles on both sides.

"It's nice to meet you Charro Negro, I am Quetzalcoatl." Quetzalcoatl speaks to Uriel in the ancient Aztec language. Uriel begins to tremble and grabs his left arm thinking:

"Calm down, take a deep breath, you must be brave in order to protect someone!"

"It's nice to meet you too, but why are you doing this?" Uriel asks Quetzalcoatl with a forceful smile.

"Your kind attack me and my brothers 500 years ago, Those Horseman teamed up with a Red Witch and seal 3 of my siblings, now I am here to avenge them by killing you and the Cortes bloodline." Quetzalcoatl explains to Uriel as it charges straight at him.

"Wait this is a mistake!" Uriel screams as he retrieves. Quetzalcoatl swings its sword to attack but Uriel blocks it with his sword.

(SWWWIIINNNGGG, BOOOOMMMM)

The force of the impact was so great that it destroyed two buildings located at the right of Uriel causing a hole. Quetzalcoatl and Uriel clash their swords multiple times creating huge shockwaves.

(BOOOOM, BOOOOOM)

Marjorie who is standing behind Alejandro trembles of fear as they can only see multiple smoke screens as Uriel and Quetzalcoatl are faster then what their eyes can see. Marjorie looks at Alejandro who is shaking and says:

"Don´t worry I´m sure Uriel is going to win."

Alejandro looks at Marjorie and says: "We need to run or we are going to die" Alejandro grabs Marjorie´s hand and begins to run with tears in his eyes saying to himself:

"I´m pathetic, I´m suppose to protect Marjorie but I´m nothing but a cry baby, please forgive me Teacher!"

At that moment a dark portal appears out of nowhere and El Muerto comes out of the portal. He extends his hand and says:

"Majorie Bellerose, come with me now"

Marjorie stands behind Alejandro who begins to cry and scream: "Don´t kill us, please!"

Marjorie notices Alejandro´s fear and steps forwards and says: "I will go with you, just leave him alone."

Meanwhile Uriel gets kicked by Quetzalcoatl and flies into the air. Quetzalcoatl jumps into the air at a high speed on top of Uriel and hits him in the back causing him to go downward destroying two houses.

(BOOOOOOM, CRAAASSSHH)

Quetzalcoatl lands next to Uriel and prepares to slash him with a downward move.

"This is the end Charro" Quetzalcoatl swings the sword connecting.

(BOOOOOMMM)

In the other area Marjorie begins to walk slowly towards El Muerto with tears in her eyes. One of those tears reaches Alejandro´s face. He then remembers the promise he made to Marjorie.

Part 2 – 8 years before- Vazquez Family Funeral

In the Vazquez Family Funeral, Marjorie cries over Uriel´s "death" without anyone knowing that he actually left in a corner of the funeral home. Alejandro walks and hugs her and asks:

"Marjorie do you miss Uriel?"

"Yes I loved him, wahhh." Marjorie answers as she continues crying. Alejandro begins to cry as well and says:

"He was my best friend you know, I miss him too."

Alejandro stands straight, wipes his tears and says:

"Right, for the sake of my friend Uriel, from today on you are my sister and I will take care of you on his behalf."

Marjorie begins to laugh causing Alejandro to scratch his head and say: "Did I say something wrong?"

"No, it's just that you and Uriel always found a way to cheer me up, okay it is a promise, you are now my brother." Marjorie says as she smiles at Alejandro and he responds:

"I swear I will protect you, and Uriel will protect us."

Part 3- Present time- Shopping District.

Alejandro grabs Marjorie´s hand and pulls her back, he points at El Muerto and says while rubbing his tears away:

"I´m sorry Marjorie, I was a stupid cry baby, but I remember the promise I made, right now Uriel is protecting us from Quetzalcoatl, so I´m going to protect you."

Marjorie begins to cry and says: "Thank you, brother."

Alejandro begins to think: "That´s right Marjorie and I are always close, I have always protected her even when she became Aleister's girlfriend I did not leave her side. Uriel may be gone, but this Uriel is fighting to protect us. MAN UP!!!!"

Alejandro throws a middle finger at El Muerto and says: "Come and get me!" El Muerto opens a portal and releases specters hands towards Alejandro.

(BOOOOMMMM)

Uriel catches the sword with his hands and stands up holding it, Quetzalcoatl begins to push down and says:

"Give up boy, you don't have any power"

Alejandro and Uriel say at the same time:

"A true power is being brave enough to protect someone close!!!"

The specter hands disappear because a special barrier is formed from Uriel´s rosary Alejandro has with him. Alejandro says:

"Stupid Uriel is protecting us even if he is not here."

Alejandro grabs Marjorie´s hand and runs straight at Uriel. Uriel breaks the sword with his hands and punches Quetzalcoatl. However Quetzalcoatl takes out two blades from his knuckles and stabs Uriel.

(DRIP, DRIP, DRIP, DROP DROP)

Blood begins to poor out of Uriel's abdomen. He begins to throw up blood as well. He begins to lose consciousness, as Quetzalcoatl lifts him stabbing from the ground.

Marjorie and Alejandro run towards Uriel as they see him and Quetzalcoatl. Marjorie covers her mouth with her hand as she sees Uriel impaled by Quetzalcoatl.

"UUURRRIIIIEEELLL" Marjorie screams at Uriel as she leaves Alejandro's hands running towards Uriel screaming his name.

"MARJORIE!!!!" Alejandro screams as he sees a black portal opening behind her, specter hands appears trying to grab her.

"iel, Riel, Uriel, URIEL!!" Uriel hears Marjorie screaming his name. He sees Marjorie and the portal. His eyes regain light and his cornea turns black, red aura begins to flow out of Uriel as he breaks free from the claws of Quetzalcoatl. He grabs the arm and slams Quetzalcoatl to the ground.

(BBOOOOMMMM)

(FLLLASSSHH)

Uriel appears behind Marjorie slashing the portal breaking it and making it disappear. Quetzalcoatl remembers the past as fire strikes the memory. Suddenly the golden armor turns purple and the blue eyes turn into red eyes. Purple aura begins to flow out of Quetzalcoatl as it screams.

(RRRRAAAAWWW)

(BBBBOOOOOOMMM)

A shock wave makes everything blow away.

"AAAAHHHHH" Xochitl screams as she is blown away with a house. Alejandro sees the girl fall and a house going to fall on top of her. He goes and covers the girl as the house falls on top of them.

(BBBBOOOOMMM)

"ALEJANDRO!!!" Marjorie strikes as she and Uriel are blown away into the river.

(SSSPPPPLLAAASSSH)

Uriel covers Marjorie from the impact but loses consciousness. Marjorie holds Uriel as they fall into the waterfall.

A portal opens beneath Quetzalcoatl and specter hands pull him into the portal making it disappear.

"That was fun, but were done for today." El Muerto says as he is dripping blood from his right hand from Uriel´s previous slash and disappears. However Dr. Ortiz and Escobar see El Muerto, he then opens the portal trying to pull Dr. Ortiz but Dr. Escobar gets him out of the way disappearing in the portal.

"DDDAAAARRRRLLLLLINNNG" Dr. Ortiz screams as he falls into the water as well.

Katsumi and Johanna arrive at the scene but there is a disaster. Alejandro rises from the house with Xochitl covered in blood.

"What happened?" Johanna asked but Alejandro passes away as well.

In top of a tree there is an old woman, with a cat that says: "That was exciting" and disappears in the air.
