15 years later

So here I was, in Asgard, like i had been for the past 15 years.

I only fought, trained, and spent time with Thor and his friends.

With Thor we became the best of friends, along with his war 'brothers, and sister'.

Speaking of which right now I was in my 999th battle, 'only ten more' I thought and sent a frost giant flying.

We were currently at a small war in Jotunheim with the frost giants. they for the 800th time wanted to destroy Asgard but we again have and will stop them.

After I sent the ice giant flying, I opened a portal to Thor and saw him fighting Laufey – the king of the frost giant's. Thor wasn't losing, but I still decided to help him in the battle.

Laufey after I landed the final blow said "we will never give up".

I chuckled and said "I know".

After that ended we returned to Asgard via the bifrost . when we were walking back to the castle we made small talk, we all compared how many frost giant's we defeated. Thor sadly won defeating one more frost giant than me and 5 more than our other friends.

We came back to the castle, I had been promoted to commander. Odin and Frigga greeted us, and Loki gave us the usual stank eye. Though I was very surprised Loki hadn't tried to kill me yet.

I went to my room showered went to the bed and after a couple of blinks fell asleep, though as soon as I started snoozing came a notification from one of my spell's which told me the ancient one's life was ending. I knew I couldn't stop it, but I wanted to say goodbye.

I opened a portal to her location, and I found her body and a lot of doctors around it. I instantly turned invisible. I went to the roof and saw her astral projection though I didn't interfere with they're talk.

After strange left I came up to her, knelt on one knee and said "hello master".

She said "hello mr Frost and goodbye" she said the last sentence sadly and then disappeared. And her pulse stopped.

I opened the portal sadly and left while whispering 'goodbye'.

I portaled back to my room and saw Odin sitting on a chair.

He said, "we can go to the vault, and you choose your item".

I smiled and said "sure".

We were at the vault; I ran to the eternal flame like a child. When I got near it my system notified me.

I grabbed a piece of it and heard a notification in my head.
