18 chapter 15 The opening of the curtains
[After 2 weeks ]
Life in Tokyo was very different from New York, the people here ranged from the very kind to the arrogant and perverted people, the things that happened in the following weeks was either get ambushed by Baki or get accosted by Disciples of Orochi, which gets pretty annoying since they are pretty much everywhere,I also got acquainted with Kaoru Hanayama, he's chill and very formal and he also requested a quick bout in an abandoned lot in a secluded space behind a building,which disappointedly ended with a quick brawl with both of us tanking the first punch from each other, which I won pretty easily since Hanayama hit my forehead while I landed my fist on his nose, he is quickly knocked back and landed on his back, I quickly ask his right hand man Kizaki, if it's alright but he shrug then took a water cup filled with rainwater from a dumpster then splashed Hanayama with the water, who quickly opened his eyes and rubbed his broken nose then saying "I lost",after getting up he offered a drink which I accepted, we talked about a lot of things and he asked me on how to be the toughest there is, which I answered "it depends you can tank hits by being flexible or gritting your teeth and using your muscles to balance the pain in your entire body" to which he thought for some time, after midnight he bids me goodbye then tossing me a calling card that if anyone or I need something just call which I accepted, after with Hanayama the next day me and Alexandra sparred she is specialist in terms of northern Chinese Kenpo which consists of high kicks,flying kicks, and fast jabs you'd see in Shaolin martial arts, I taught her how to hit harder with her kicks and where to strike effectively so that her barrages of jabs had meaning not just throwing them hoping to exhaust the enemy blocking the super fast strikes, she also gave some input on how to effectively use Wu Wang fist or Wu Dang fist, depending on the region it could be known as the southern Chinese Kenpo or lowland Chinese martial arts, there's also variants like Wing Chun,Wu shu,and the animal mimic Kenpo,it gave me a lot of variants to practice while I mastered the styles transitioning between them still took a second, which Grandmasters of martial arts will notice and take advantage, anyway as we practice two of my friends took the time to explore all of Japan could offer, just 2 days before the day of welcoming me officially to Japans underground, Tokugawa gave me the schedule of my fights and as I took it to examine it, I see a very blood pumping line up of fights.
1st day
first fight : Demon King vs Kōshō Shinogi
second fight :Demon King vs Shibukawa Gouki
2nd day
first fight : Demon King vs Chiharu Shiba
second fight : Demon King vs Kanji Igari
3rd day
first fight : Demon King vs Katsumi Orochi
second fight : Demon King vs Kengo Misaki
4th day
first fight : Demon King vs Kaoru Hanayama
second fight : Demon King vs Doppo Orochi
5th day
first fight : Demon King vs Kureha Shinogi
second fight: Demon King vs Kinryuuzan
6th day
first fight : Demon King vs Izou Motobe
Second fight : Demon King vs Shohei Toba
7th day
first fight : Demon King vs Kiyosumi Katou
second fight : Demon King vs Baki Hanma
and below Kai could see the advertisement saying in big bold letters ' Demon King has arrived '
Kai seeing this couldn't help but laugh then turning to Tokugawa asking "Hey Tokugawa, is this all of it?"
Tokugawa smiling answered Kai "no, it's not all, since some of them wanted a no hold match including weapons, do you want them? I could schedule some additional fights"
Kai reaching the peak of excitement unconsciously activated his Guihun "Do it!!"
"Alright, I'll be back with the new schedule" Tokugawa also can't help his excitement that he's skipping out of Kai's room"

[1st Day of the fights outside of Tokyo dome]
Random people are chattering since this is one of the biggest event's in a while the their Esteemed Tokugawa has organized.
Audience 1 : Hey, do you hear? Tokugawa invited the king of New York fighting scenes
Audience 2 : Do you think he's strong?
Audience 3 : I want to see faces got wrecked today
Audience 4 : look it's opening, quick I want to buy the best seats for the whole week

POV Kai
Stretching and making my limbs limber by doing a warm-up, Alexandra, Anastasia, and Yui were with me cheering me inside the locker room.
Yui: I fed you all the food that strengthen the body, so don't you dare lose Kai Chan.
Alexandra : Don't worry Yui, Kai been doing this back home it's gonna be a breeze.
Anastasia : I don't think it's easy Alexandra, I got a look at the fighters fighting Kai, they look tough.
Kai : It's alright, don't worry you lot, I'll defeat them in a jiffy.
then someone called Kai to get to the Ring, Kai standing up proceeded to the arena followed by his girlfriend, Anastasia and Yui, as they neared the blinding light at the end of the hallway,they could hear loud clamoring and cheering, Kai sporting trunks,handwraps, and tape banded in his ankles, he looks like a Muay Thai fighter as he entered the octagonal arena, stepping inside he felt the sand along with a few teeth's scattered in the ground, looking around he could see multitudes of people cheering,booing and talking to themselves as he was announced they look at him then a deafening cheers with boo's filled the arena,Kai could see to the left of him seated at the center was Tokugawa, soon they announced his first opponent Kōshō Shinogi also known as [Cord cutter Shinogi], from what he knows this Shinogi is the younger one and practicing Himokiri Karate, from the Anime's his style is similar to Rihito from the Kenganverse except it's Karate moves that makes it dangerous as his fingers are very sharp.
Tokugawa now standing up decided to introduce Kai as a King of New York underground and be given applause for having the bravery to stand in the foreign arena, while he introduced Kōshō Shinogi as one of the best fighters to ever grace Japan, he then motioned for the referee which approached Kai and Shinogi who's already looking smug to Kai as he positioned in the Middle, he told the both of them that anything short of weapons are allowed and until one of them surrender's or dies only will the match ends, getting an affirmation from both of the Fighters the referee then motioned for them to go to their corners, after Kai and Kōshō reached the ends of the arena the gong sounded loud.
Kai who's facing Kōshō walked to his opponent as if taking a stroll, Kōshō who's been watching Kai's every move felt offended that his opponent was not taking him seriously, he then ran towards him intent on showering him with strikes that are sharp enough to cut steel wire's, Kai who's smirking at Kōshō's decision, decided to just bat his strikes left and right.
The audience with Tokugawa can't help but be in awe on how fast Kōshō is firing his punches at Kai, While Kai's having fun at pretending that he is having difficulty and is being pushed back, for about 8 minutes Kai was going around backing and batting aside Kōshō strike's who's getting infuriated that his attacks somehow cannot reach Kai, Having enough Kai then sneaked a punch through Kōshō's strikes but stopped it when it's just inches away from Kōshō face, Kōshō now realizing a fist so closed to his face is stunned at the turn of events, he then turned his attention to Kai who's face was mocking with a sticking tongue while saying "Got you!!!" then Kōshō's vision went blacked.
Kai after sticking his tongue and firing his [Dragon shot technique] at Kōshō face, he then watched as the younger Shinogi went limp and landed with a thud at the Sandy floor of the arena, he turned his attention to Tokugawa and the silenced crowd as he surveyed them, all of them was shocked at the turn of events and after processing what happened they then cheered for Kai chanting "DEMON KING!!" "DEMON KING!!" "DEMON KING!!"
Kai was announced winner by Tokugawa as they carted the unconscious Kōshō Shinogi out of the ring, Tokugawa then announced a 30 minute break before starting the second fight which cleared the audience with Kai also heading back to the locker room.

POV Baki
watching the Demon King fight Kōshō was enlightening to me, I could see that he got a very fast reflex and kinetic vision to be able to casually deflect Kōshō's strikes, "Shinogi got no chance in defeating him" Hanayama commented besides Baki, surprised Baki then ask Hanayama if he knows the Demon King to which Hanayama replied "Yes, I fought him a while ago, he's strong" , Baki now realized that Kaoru was defeated by the Demon King further heightened his evaluation of Kai, as he turned his attention back at the fight, he saw the Demon King sneak a punch through the barrage of punches by Kōshō then stopping it 1 inch away from Kōshō face, he then saw the Demon King mockingly sticks out his tongue before launching a 1 inch punched which knocks Shinogi out cold, surprised and shocked he then asked Kaoru how strong does the punch needed to knock a person out cold Kaoru replied "Very strong and very fast", now Baki was thinking of ways on how to avoid Kai's new mode of attack, when Tokugawa announced a 30 minute break, he saw Kai going to the locker rooms Baki invited Kaoru "Come on, let's greet the Demon King" as they go down the stairs and into the hallways.

POV Kai
after being congratulated by Alexandra, Anastasia, and Yui i was visited by Baki and Kaoru at the locker room "not gonna ambush me here Mr. Hanma?"
Surprised Alexandra ask "He's my half brother?"
"Oh right, forgot to introduce you both Alexandra this is Baki your half brother" Kai said as he pointed to Baki.
"Baki this is your half sister, of course you share the same father, Baki meet Alexandra your half sister, also my girlfriend"Kai motioning to Alexandra from Baki.
Baki stunned at the events couldn't help but stutter " I i got a a sister?"
"Yeah, met her at New York underground, been in love with her since then" Kai say's as he kissed Alexandra's cheeks.
Baki snapping out offered a handshake to Alexandra saying "Nice to meet you Onee San"
Alexandra replied "Nice to meet you too Baki,never had a little brother so this might be a little awkward,but let's go out and get to know each other soon"
"Yeah, let's do that" Baki smiling as he accepted Alexandra's invitation.
Kai interjecting "So why are you both here? Baki and Hanayama" as he ask the two of them.
Kaoru replied "I came to congratulate you on your flawless victory"
while Baki answered "We might got on the wrong foot, I was hoping if we could mend our relationship"
"Sure, sorry bout calling you name's,you see I'm not fond of someone always ambushing me" Kai offered his apology for being an asshole to Baki and explaining his side.
"Yeah,Sorry about that, I was a little bit hotheaded during those times, say after our fight, could you train me?"Baki says as he scratched his head while asking Kai to train him.
"Why me?" Kai ask as he was sure that Baki doesn't just ask anyone for training.
"I knew you fought Yujiro Hanma to a stalemate after we first met at New York, well that's what Strydum told me"Baki explaining the reason for asking.
"So you wanted me as a stalking horse to your father eh?bad news for you I ain't old yet and I'm not taking disciples"Kai say's as he snubbed Baki's request to train.
"What? why?" Baki not comprehending Kai's metaphors.
"I say I'm not tra... wait why are you pulling my ear" Kai say's as Alexandra aggressively pulled his ear.
"Don't worry Kai will train you, but first you must not disappoint your Onee-san, Alright"Alexandra say's to Baki as she was smiling while pulling Kai's ears.
"Thank you Onee San" Baki happily hug Alexandra as he stuck a tongue at Kai's direction.
' I'll get you for this ' Kai internally swore as he will defeat Baki in the most humiliating way.
Suddenly one of Tokugawa staffs entered and ask Kai to be ready in 5 minutes to which Kai nodded and prepared by hydrating himself and do a stretch on his joints then going out followed by Baki, Hanayama, Alexandra, Anastasia,and Yui.
Entering the Sandy Octagon again, Kai could see that Shibukawa was already at the other side, walking to the middle both Kai and Shibukawa met at the middle with the ref.
"Don't get defeated by this Old man, Demon King"Shibukawa provokes Kai as the ref was explaining the rules once again.
"I would enjoy crushing you Old man!!"Kai say's as he activated his Guihun which surprised and shocked the ref,the audience, and Gouki who's wide eyed as he muttered "So you finally let out your true form,Demon King"
Tokugawa who's leaning and grabbing the edges of his seat can't help but exclaim "Ohhhhh, this will be good, will the mystical force of Aiki survive the wrath of the Demon King or will the Demon King be humbled before the power of Aiki"
as Kai was going to his side, he can't help but cackle loud which creeped and scared the audience so much that they unconsciously hold their shoulders in fright.
As Kai positioned himself, with Gouki doing the same in his corner already at his high guard for Kai.
Kai shouted as he lunged immediately at the boom of the gong "Let's go!!!!"
