she was scared but it felt good to be with him

He smiled and stood up, walked to the entrance of the shade and put his hand in the rain before dropping it down. He took his phone unlocked it and looked up his music player. He clicked on a music and let it play.

It was a slow love song.

Then she understood his meaning, actually she understood when he checked the tencity of the rain before checking his phone.

He came back to meet her and extend his hand for her to take.

She shook her head, without giving him her hand.

"I am not dancing in the rain, Lewis." She said shaking her head.

But he bent to her and raised her up with his hands by her arms.

"Lewis....." She called his name in a warning when she looked at his face.

"Come on, you will try one of mine and I am happy to try all your list with you." He told her pulling her with him.

Really, that was if she ever thought about a bucket list.

"I am going to get cold."

He shook his head with a visible smile dancing on his mouth. "I am here to keep you warm and besides I won't bite."

She let it sink before she spoke concealing her smile.

He pulled her down the shade and into the rain which was drizzling now.

"Lewis.....will you take responsibility for anything that happens to me?" Literally speaking she said.

He didn't pinch. "What have I been saying, you are my responsibility until you have boarded the plane back to Spain. Shall we, my lady?" He asked with a smile.

She looked at him, shook her head and let him amuse her.

He put his hand on the small of her back and pulled her close to him and she held his hand up and place her other hand on his shoulders.

She looked up at the rain that was drizzling, it wasn't so terrifying.

"This is not so bad." She said as they moved in rymthm with the music from his phone and a space in between them.

She had danced before but it had never been in the rain and with a stranger who she was starting to like.

She looked at him.

"I think we are done here." She stopped dancing without looking at him.

He smiled but did not leave her waist. "Is this really how you dance?"

"Dancing have never been my thing, so I never put so much effort." Her voice uncaring.

He smiled. How could he have such patience with this woman?

"This type of dance last I remember, involves two people in a relationship or not, communicating. Have you ever acted before?"

Not like it had anything to do with what they were talking about but she shook her head. "No, never had the patience or pleasure to practice."

He sighed. Asking her if she had acted before was for her to pretend they were only acting but she haven't. What now?

"Can I teach you?" He asked her.

She looked at him the same time the rain started over their heads. Kristine struggled to get free but he didn't let go, even when the rain blinded her vision. The flower behind her ears fell but in the stuggle she didn't bother to retrieve it.

She didn't have any interest to learn, how would she want to dance. She had thought about learning Salsa but she changed her mind, when she got a job and Bella had been angry with her.

But here was a teacher who was ready and willing to teach her something and she was being so adamant about it?

She sighed as the rain continued, their body wet. She could feel the wetness penetrate through her clothes, on her skin. She quickly nodded her head.

"I can't hear you." He said with a smile.

"Okay." She screamed.

He smiled and laughed, dropped his hands from her body and took her hand before racing to the shade.

He put her in a jeopardizing position, why will she not say okay to save herself.

"Do you do this to all your students?" She asked when she wiped the water off her face and sneezed the water out of her hair.

He nod as he cleaned the water on his face with his handkerchief and raked his hand through his wet hair.

"Yes, especially those hardheaded ones who do not know what potential they have. I have to help them see it."

She looked at him for a moment when she understood what he meant. "So, I am one of your students now."

He smiled. "No, you are one of my students, stubborn and a woman."

She smiled. She knew she was stubborn to learn new things but she wasn't stubborn to do the work she was assigned.

She watched him pick up his phone again and pick another song before dropping it on the bench.

"Are you a dance teacher too?" She couldn't help but ask.

"No, I just can't resist the urge to teach you since I can see you have the zeal and besides I am teaching you so that I can be able to dance with you."

Then she remembered his bucket list. 'As your girlfriend?"

He smiled. "No, as my dance partner. Or maybe you would like to feel that space. It is vacant." He teased with a little jolly in his voice. He was having fun.

"Right."

It was not a yes, I agree, it was not a no, I don't agree. Kristine didn't even know what it was really?

He took her waist and pulled her close to him but she remained rigid in his arms. He stopped and looked at her.

"What is it?"

She shook her head without looking at him.

He pulled her close to him, holding her waist with his two hands locked behind her.

She cleared her throat not looking at him.

He smiled. Dropped his hands, took hers and placed them on his neck which made her locked them together over his head. He replaced his hands at her back and he moved slowly. Left and right, she followed, doing what he did with her heart beating in her chest.

"You can look at me now." She heard him.

She could feel his skin beneath the wet clothes he had on. Her hands rested on his skin. She rolled her eyes and looked at him to meet his eyes.

She looked at him for the first five seconds and looked away. She looked down at his feet and raised her eyes and looked at him again. Another five seconds passed, she looked down and looked away.

"I can't."
