A Troubling Revelation

Alyx stood in front of Liz, who looked to be his age! He was confused, where is she from, and how did she get here?

"Liz? I-Is that really you?" Alyx asked.

"Go on, ask me anything."

"What do I eat for breakf-"

Liz crossed her arms, "You have Mom make you 'All Might Pancakes' alongside bacon and eggs every morning up until you had to leave for U.A., then you begged Mom for the recipe, tried to cook them yourself. Then burn down the kitchen at Heights Alliance at 6:45 in the morning when you finally muster the courage to cook them."

"Huh... Seriously? I burn the kitchen down? I guess that does sound like a me thing to do."

"As a matter of fact, you do it... Tomorrow morning! You literally have no choice but to after this now that I've told you or else dire consequences or something, I dunno. Boshi told me not to go into specifics about things being I'm from your future."

"Wait, Amatsu? Does that mean that I..."

Liz didn't say anything to him, she looked down at the ground as Alyx accepted his presumed fate.

"I see..." He continued.

"B-But it doesn't have to be like that! Trust me!"

Liz pulled a sealed vial out from her pocket. She tossed it over to him, he looked at the bright green liquid inside.

"If this doesn't taste like green apples, I'm bonking you on the head, I swear." Alyx warned.

"If you don't take it, you'll have couple heart attacks and constant heart pain in a few months, preventing you from doing any form of hero work until a cure is made for you a few years down the road. By a few years I mean 15 by the way."

"Oh shit, that's all you had to say! Bottoms up!"

He chugged the medicine down without a second thought. He wiped his mouth off before handing the vial back to Liz.

"I guess I gotta get back home now... Fun..."

"Sounds like you really don't want to."

"It's a hellhole, one minute I feel like I'm asleep for years then the next I wake up without remembering what I was doing before then. You... I just can't and don't wanna get into specifics but I'm just really glad I can see you again."

Alyx walked forward towards her, "Why don't I come with you? Maybe I can help fix things!"

"You can't, it'll cause a dimensional merge that'll shatter both the present and the future. The damage is irreversible, none of us will exist in other realities if you did try and come with me."

She placed her hand on his forehead, images of destruction, bodies strewn about buildings and streets, cries for help and bloodcurdling screams ran about in his mind. Liz took her hand off Alyx's forehead, he was rather startled at what he saw. He hugged Liz before he faded out of the Plane.

"Be safe for me, alright?" He told her.

"I can't promise you that, but I'll try. Promise me you'll stop training for a while, okay? Let your heart actually relax for once?"

Leonidus nodded back then woke up from the Seventh Plane, he sat up in his bed, the festivities downstairs were still going on. He'd only been gone a half an hour. Leonidus left his room, he walked back downstairs to the Common Room.

"Hey man! Everything alright? You went upstairs for a while." Tetsutetsu asked.

"Yeah, um... I need to sit down."

Alyx sat down on one of the couches in the Common Room, everyone gathered around him with worry. Yaoyorozu gave him a cup of lavender tea as he stared at the table in front of him.

"It's not going to make sense to most of you, but I was called into a place called the 'Seventh Plane', which is a space Overdrive users can access alongside those who've died. I... I somehow saw my younger sister Liz, from the future, she didn't go into specifics but she told me that everything was a hellhole. She gave me a glimpse as to what was going on, I couldn't believe what I saw." He explained.

"Gosh, it must've been scary if it's gotten you shaken up." Tsuyu remarked.

"I die."

"What?!" Everyone exclaimed.

"She refused to tell me how, but I died. Within the next few months, I'd be having heart problems and heart attacks often, but not anymore. She gave me some sort of medicine that's supposedly going to cure that. I won't be training anymore either, at least for the time being."

"Alyx... You aren't saying..."

"No, I won't be leaving U.A. nor this class. I'll be focusing on my academics but won't be doing much outside of that. I have to be careful until the next few months pass."

Aizawa looked over at him, "What are you suggesting then, Alyx?"

"If it's alright by you, I'll be hanging back for a while. You can have Shinso take my place during the heroics classes as well if you'd like, I don't mind it."

"I see, that's something I'll have to discuss with Principal Nezu then, but I'm certain he'd be fine with it."

As everyone cleaned up to head back to their rooms and dorms, Leonidus stayed up cleaning off some dishes.

"Alyx? Aren't you coming up to your room?" Momo wondered.

"Yeah, I'll be up in a minute."

Yaoyorozu walked down the steps and walked over to him, she wrapped her arms around him then rested her chin on his shoulder.

"You've been washing that same plate for 5 minutes now." She spoke up.

"I have? Oh. I didn't even notice."

"I've never seen you this worried before, what's wrong? Besides the obvious of course."

Leonidus set the plate aside, "I'm just worried that I'll fail you guys because of this. What if you guys need me and I'm still here studying?"

"We'll be okay, you've trained me you know! Not to mention we all can hold our own pretty well."

Leonidus sighed and slightly smiled, "I know, I guess I'm just super worried that you guys'll get hurt. Nurturing instinct I guess. I really am like my mom..."

[The Next Morning...]

"HELP ME! OH MY GOD!!" Alyx shouted.

"PUT IT OUT! PUT IT OUT!!!" Kaminari yelled.

Just as Liz told him, a fire had broke out in the dormitory as Alyx attempted to make breakfast. Todoroki walked over and filled the stove with ice.

"Geez, thanks Shoto! I literally could not prevent that from happening! That was an experience!" Leonidus beamed.

The students got ready for school after a near catastrophic event. As their heroics class came, Leonidus stayed in Class A with Midnight, he mumbled to himself as he completed a stack of work.

"Leonidus?" Midnight broke his train of thought.

"Huh? Did you need something, Ms. Midnight? Sorry, I was spacing out there."

"You know you don't have to sit out your Heroics Class, right?"

"I know, but I wanna be careful, I don't wanna overdo it and make the future outcome happen."

Midnight sat down next to him, "I'd like to ask, you visited this 'Seventh Plane' place, right? How reliable is it?"

"Very, it's essentially a pocket dimension for every universe in existence. And, of course, it contains those from the Past, Present, and Future of those realities."

"Incredible... How was it created?"

"That's the thing," Alyx continued, "Nobody really knows. My father always told me that the first Overdrive user used it to seal spirits inside, being it's an endless void, there's no escape from it. But anyone that enters the Seventh Plane is there for a reason, living or dead. If I had to guess, I'd say All-Maker had a hand in creating it."

"Is this something we can explore by chance? Is there a way we can enter different universes if that's even possible?"

"Unless you're wanting to be erased, I would suggest not. There are rules one must follow in order to prevent the tampering of reality." Amaterasu chimed in.

Midnight blinked a few times as she saw the deity then phase back into Alyx's body.

"W-What was that?" Midnight panicked.

"Oh, that was just a deity that my Grandmother summoned to protect me when I was little! It's a long, looooooong story."

After briefly explaining to her that Amaterasu wasn't going to kill anyone or anything, Alyx got back to work as Midnight left the room. She approached the teacher's lounge and entered the room.

"Nemuri, you look rather... Tired?" All Might guessed.

"Nobody told me that the boy had a spirit as a friend." Midnight monotoned.

"You didn't know that? She's gotten staff member of the week, like, twice now." Present Mic pointed out.

She came to terms with it as she nodded. Back in the 1-A classroom, Leonidus' phone buzzed, he looked at it to see that Star and Stripe texted him. It was a picture of her holding a flight ticket as she smiled, the message said "See you soon!". Alyx grinned with delight as he text her back "What????".

[Several Hours Later...]

"How fat does my ass look in these jeans?" Leonidus wondered.

Yaoyorozu placed her book down and looked at him, not saying a single word to him. Alyx raised his eyebrows, expecting a response from her, Momo exhaled out of disappointment.

"You know, we've been together for a little over half a year now, and I still don't understand how you share the same brain cell count as Kaminari at times. No offense to him or you, by the way, just making a comparison."

"A simple yes or no would've sufficed, geez!"

Yaoyorozu tilted her head a bit, "Wait, why are you getting dressed up anyway?"

"Oh, I was gonna ask if you wanted to go out somewhere tonight. I was trying to figure out a place to go, I made reservations for that one fancy restaurant downtown in Tokyo, I can't remember the name now though. I think it was Narasawa something? I don't really-"

He turned around to see that she had already picked out 8 different dresses, 10 pairs of shoes, and a huge collection of makeup.

"How long are we gonna be there? Is it Narisawa? What time are we going? Will it be cooler out later tonight?" Momo sputtered.

"U-Um... We're going at 7 if that helps at all?"

"Lavender it is then!"

After an hour of waiting, Yaoyorozu was finally ready to head out, Mina walked the two out after they told everyone where they were going.

"Alright you two, have fun!" Mina smiled.

Momo wrapped her arms around Alyx as he took off into the sky.

"So, I wanted to ask you something as well, is there anything I can do to improve my fighting style?" Momo questioned.

"Well, typically the shorter the hair, the less you'll have to worry about it getting in the way. That's what I've always been told. But being you have yours up all the time, that shouldn't be a problem."

"Are you saying you like girls with shorter hair?"

"Oh, no, I'm saying that because I saw someone's head get ripped clean off thanks to their hair. First time I've ever seen a nervous system too."

"Oooooh... That's awful."

The two took a slow flight across the city towards Tokyo, Momo rested her head on Alyx's back and smiled. They landed down in front of the restaurant, Momo held Alyx's hand as they walked in.

"Good evening! Do you have a reservation?" The attendant asked.

"Yes, 7:00 for Leonidus, sir." Alyx nodded.

"Indeed, right this way then!" He smiled.

The attendant took them to their table, after a short while, they ordered their food. Momo pulled out her phone several times, texting rather rapidly.

"Is everything okay?" Leonidus wondered.

"Yes, it's just my father, he's getting even worse now. My mother told me that the doctors are projecting he only has just a few days now. They're even telling her to potentially arrange his funeral."

"Seriously?"

Momo nodded at him, he could tell that her demeanor was the lowest he's ever seen it. Alyx stood up from his chair, Yaoyorozu looked at him with bewilderment, she followed him out of the restaurant.

"Hop on." He told her.

"What? Where are we going?"

"I made you a promise, right?"

Momo slightly gasped as she realized what he meant. She wrapped her arms around him and they took off towards the Musutafu City Hospital. Once there, Momo led him inside towards her father's room. He struggled to look over at them.

"Mo... Mo...? Who is... This...?" Her father questioned.

"This is Alyx, my... Boyfriend."

Alyx walked over to him, "Hey, Mr. Yaoyorozu. How're you feeling?"

"Been... Better..."

"Well, hopefully after this, you'll feel a lot better! If not, I'll do whatever it takes to see it through."

He pulled up a chair next to him, Overdrive began to glow from the palms of his hands. Alyx closed his eyes and focused on his healing. Momo watched as her father's eyes slowly became less glazed over. Leonidus nose began to bleed as the healing continued.

"𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘯, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘰 𝘪𝘵 𝘈𝘭𝘺𝘹." Leonidus thought.

Soon, his eyes became bright once again, Leonidus' arms slumped to his sides as he chuckled. Momo's father sat up, looking at his hands, astonished at what just happened. Momo couldn't move her feet whatsoever, her father smiled at Leonidus.

"Thank you, I don't know how you did it, but thank you." He tearfully thanked.

Leonidus simply smiled at him, "You should rest now, Mr. Yaoyorozu. We'll see you in the morning."

He laid back down and fell asleep, Leonidus got up from his chair and turned to face Momo, tears streamed down her face as she stood still.

"Why...? What did I do to be blessed with you? Why are you so kind?" Momo cried.

Leonidus hugged her tightly, "Because I never want someone to go through what I did. To lose everything you had, be put in a place where you don't belong, then to lose people again... That's why I'm kind. This life of mine, it could break anyone down, which is why I refuse to be like what fate was driving me towards. Those promises I make, I'll always strive to make them come true, I refuse to let them be broken."

"You were never blessed with me, I'm not some kind of heaven sent being, I'm just making sure that you're happy." Alyx continued.

The two eventually sat on the floor, leaning against the wall, Leonidus held Momo in his arms.

"I love you, Alyx." Momo spoke softly.

"I love you too, Momo."

There was more silence between the two as Momo wiped tears from her eyes.

"Can we go home?"

Leonidus picked her up and gently walked through the door.

[The Next Day...]

News of Leonidus' deed spread throughout U.A., now people were coming up to him to treat their illnesses! Leonidus had to push himself out of a huge crowd of students to get out of the cafeteria. He fell onto the ground in front of Jiro and Kaminari.

"How goes it, medicine man?" Denki greeted.

"Jumpin' Jesus on a breadstick why in the fuck did this spread so quickly?" Alyx heaved.

"Yaomomo's dad was interviewed today, the news pretty much spread like wildfire. You're like a miracle man now apparently." Jiro explained.

Alyx brushed himself off, "Geez, I guess that's what happens when you promise to save a loved one's dad. We should probably get out of here before people notice, I can put up a pretty convincing body double!"

The three left the cafeteria and headed towards Class A. As they entered, Denki and Kyoka saw the huge pile of work on Alyx's desk.

"Is this what you've been doing instead of going to our Heroics Class?" Jiro questioned.

"Yep! This is what I've been doing! I'm almost finished believe it or not." He confirmed.

Alyx walked over to his desk and sat down, continuing his work and studies. Soon, the days would turn into weeks, it was now November. It has been almost 7 months since Leonidus had trained with his Quirks! Focusing more on his studies, he rarely used his Quirks outside of minor tasks that required little to no effort. Amaterasu appeared in Annie's agency, phasing through her door.

"Oh, Amaterasu, what's up?" Annie smiled.

"I'm afraid I have some bad news, Annie. Your younger brother hasn't used his Quirks in roughly seven months, with the exception of a scheduled joint training. He's been studying-"

"He what?! Does he not realize that he can get weaker by not keeping his Quirks in shape? Who does he think he is? I get school and all that, but he should be using his Quirks at school!"

"Fortunately for him however," Amaterasu continued, "He's going to have a visitor here soon. Someone that can whip him back into shape!"

Back at U.A., Leonidus was in his dorm room studying up on his school work. There was a knock on his door that stopped his train of thought.

"It's open!" He shouted over.

Todoroki opened the door, "Hey, I was wondering if you would like to share some soba with me. I made too much."

"Oh, sure! Come on in, Shoto!"

Shoto came into the room with a bowl of soba and another bigger bowl of soba.

"You wear glasses? I didn't know that."

"Hm? Oh, no, sorry about that! I just felt like I needed to fit the aesthetic."

He set the glasses down on his desk and turned back towards Shoto. He handed Alyx the bigger bowl of soba.

"You've missed out quite a bit, you know."

"I know, but I don't really have a choice, I just wanna be careful. Although she did tell me just for a while..."

"Regardless, the program that we'll be a part of, are you coming with as well? I'm also assuming you haven't heard about that either?"

"No! He won't be!" Someone else chimed in.

The two looked over towards his sliding door, Star and Stripe poked her head in.

"Hello, Alyx! Long time no see! May I come in?" She grinned.

Leonidus' pupils became stars, "Y-Yes! Of course!"

Star and Stripe entered his room, Leonidus got up from his chair and hugged her.

"What are you doing here?" Alyx puzzled.

"I'm taking you back to America for a couple of days! I pulled some strings and your teacher allowed me to take you on a little field trip. I've heard you've been cooped up doing nothing but school work, am I correct?"

"Y-Yeah... It... It's uh... It's all catch up work!" Alyx faltered.

"Haha! I figured as much!" She laughed.

Unbeknownst to either of them, their trip to America would be one to remember!
