Chapter 3 Restart

I unzipped my bag, and grabbed out the seal. When I fell from the world I still had it attached, and the people who took care of me in Mirror house took it off, but thought it had sentimental value. And they gave it to me and I kept it in my bag always, because I thought it looked cool. Although most people would just see that as childish.

I reattached my eyepatch to my left eye. Me and Hikari both flew above the stratosphere to avoid detection from people. No planes were flying at this time so we wouldn't be caught.

We flew back in front of my apartment. We got in and Hikari was tired as ever. She immediately fell asleep on my bed. There was a lot of questions I wanted to ask, but now wasn't the time. I wanted to go fly back outside as it had just turned night. But I didn't want to risk people seeing me flying. Most of the clouds vanished at this time and the sky was clear enough to see the birds flying in the distance.

Back in the Shinigami realm I was able to hide my wings by folding it and putting it under my jacket. There was still a slight outline you could see, but you would have to look very hard to see it. I hide my wings. Then exited the room. My messy hair covered a little of my eye patch and I went closer to the wall. So no one saw it. My eyepatch had silver patterns on it as well as a purple diamond that was dangling off of a silver chain attached to the bottom of my eyepatch. So there was some a shiny glare in my left eye.

I went to the landlord's office. The assistant at the front asked me "Why do you need to see him?". I removed my eyepatch and commanded them to be my slave. I went into my landlord's office and told him, "this building belongs to me". I fled the scene immediately.

I rushed back to Hikari. I stayed undetected and I got into my room with no trouble. She was still asleep, but I've only been gone for 30 minutes. I decide to sleep on the floor tonight and do some thinking.

I woke up and got off the ground, I've fallen asleep on the ground many times before, so it wasn't an unusual feeling to me. I saw hikari eating on a table above my feet while reading a book from my shelf. Her wounds miraculously healed while she was eating. All damage to her looked like it was sealing up. Oh..that's why. I remember now her ability was to be able to completely control time over someone. She could stop a persons time, rewind it, fast forward it, or trap them in a time loop.

So she was fast forwarding time for herself, to heal her damage. I asked her, "How long has it been?". It seemed like a strange question to her but she answered anyway. "6 months". There's no way it had been only 6 months. I had to relive another 17 years. Although...in the shinigami realm time works differently. Much much differently. Possibly even enough to where 6 months was equal to 17 years.

I ask her if she knows what a zōkyō is...she replied with no. So i have to explain it to her, "Zōkyō's are extensions of the mind, body, and soul and everyone's is different. There are also three types. One is an emitter. An ability to be used on other people. The second is a transformative, used on yourself to power up or power down you. The last one is an evolution, something like a new tail or wings". I ended up with the zōkyō's Almighty(Emitter, Able to rewrite,overwrite,alter completely a persons mind and soul. There isn't a way to protect yourself from this attack if you make eye contact) and Shinigami(Evolution, Given eyes that when eye contact is made can see a persons name, and dark wings to fly. They also have some holo bones). It's clear to me what the seal was meant to do now. It wasn't meant to completely seal off my power. The eyepatch is just an eyepatch. What he really did is weaken my power, and weaken it quiet a bit. Before I could use it as many times as I needed to. Now I am only able to use the command about 5 times a day. Yesterday I used it on three people, then I used it on the assistant and landlord, after my eye started hurting. But the effects of Almighty are forever.

I flew to my school, since I really didn't need to take the bus anymore. And I managed to stay undetected. I hid my wings and prepared for the hassle today would be. Homeroom was pretty easy, as always. The rest of my classes went by in a breeze. I didn't have PE today so I didn't stay back late for lunch. I decided to take the first step in my plan. I went to the student faculty office and encountered the student council. There were 4 member's, perfect. I removed my eyepatch and told them to be my slave.

I told them to take my envelops and put it in the principles office to mail to 4 different people. They scramble off. I leave and go to the cafeteria. I run into the principal by himself, I left my eyepatch off and put it in my bag and avoided most people. I instructed him, "Go to your office and announce a school meeting in the cafeteria on the 28th. Your instructions are in this envelope". I gave the principal one of the copies of the envelopes I gave the kids. The school bell rang so I headed to my social studies class.

I managed to make it to my class. In their my teacher, Julius Shimu. He had the same last name as my science teacher. It was because they we're brother and sister, but people tried doing more research on them, but no last name, Shimu, ever popped up.

Julius was an intelligent teacher, some even thought he was the smartest person ever. Much like Mayumi, he looked out of place here in the school. Some even tried hitting on him during school. During class, he wrote numbers on the board. The numbers read, 13 5 5 20 13 5 9 14 20 8 5 2 1 3 11 1 11 9 20 15.

"Alright class today we will flip through are pages, the first number represents page, and the second represents story". Class was less breezy then I hoped it would be today.

I arrived home 30 minutes late. I was hoping Hikari would still be sleeping, but she wasn't, and there was shōnen manga littered all over the floor."I'm home" I said. "Hey! Why did you come home so late?". "My shoelace was untied and I missed the bus, and I couldn't fly when the sun's out and everyone is awake". Hikari seems to accept that answer, so I just untied my shoes and made something to eat.

After I finished I left the room to go see the landlord. He was keeping up with his act. I went back in after I was done checking up on him. "Hey Hikari can you do me a favor?". She nods her head. We went over to the bank. I got 1,000,000 yen deposited into my account. We then walked put of the bank.

Me and Hikari went to a burger shop near by. We ate for exactly 10 minutes before leaving. She asked me, "Why did you want to do that?". I didn't answer.

We arrived back home and Hikari fell asleep. *I exited the room*

I flew up into the sky. I flew far and high. I flew beyond the stratosphere. I finally stopped. The moon had gotten so big from where I was. This was so far up. It seemed like the moment I fell from grace. The moment I was excelled from the Shinigami realm. I gazed up at the moon and lost myself in its infinite abyss.
