Chapter 14

Anubis sat on the dining chair staring at the plate of food before her,she was hungry but at the same time she had no appetite to eat,what her master Zeus said about Mephisto clouded her mind,she couldn't just go fight him now or she'll die for sure,she has to practice to get stronger really strong but how??....by killing human mages?! that she will do but not yet,they were the least in her death list,she watched as Telma served her other dishes and a thought crossed her mind.

"What mage are you?" she suddenly asked the girl before her

"Fire" the girl replied

"Hmm.....and the level??"

"I'm still a basic level mage"

"Tsk!!! useless" Anubis said causing the girl to frown a bit, "What?? you upset??"

"No boss.....i dare not!" she replied and forced an awkward smile to appear on her face,

"Good!! tomorrow is the beginning of the week...prepare,you will be following me to school to improve you fire level ability,i don't want my servant to be totally useless at all"Anubis said and started taking a bite of her food reluctantly,Telma bowed and left leaving Anubis alone in the dining.

"Don't you think allowing her to get strong is a wrong idea?" a voice sounded from inside Anubis's mind and she knew who it was.

"How is that a wrong idea?"Anubis asked pretending to be clueless of what Lilith was saying

"Oh please,spare me the pretence....you talk like you don't know what I'm saying"Lilith said in displease ,

"kikikikikiki" Anubis chuckled making Lilith to frown more

Seeing that Lilith was silent,Anubis bit her lips as she tried to suppress her sneer " pardon my manners" she said more seriously " What i do is nothing but a test,i plan on killing her the moment she thinks of betraying me,but if she doesn't I'll keep her by my side,she's going to be of great help to me in the nearest future"

"I see.....seems i was just worried for nothing,you are wiser for your age,Zeus was not mistaken when he gave you a second chance,hahaha" Lilith said and laughed lightly causing Anubis to blush. After the little conversation,Lilith went back to sleep and Anubis concentrated on her food,when she was done she went inside her room to sleep,it was already night time.

At twelve midnight Anubis got up from the bed and sat down on the floor,crossing her legs she closed her eyes as she voiced out the sentence Lilith told her to whenever she wanted to practice her power.

"You are darkness and i am darkness,you don't own me but i own you for i am your master,heed the voice of i who call you and spring forth out of your abyss into me" once she made the statement,total darkness filled the entire room,the darkness surged through her making her to float on the air,her hairs danced in the air as her body was covered in black smoke,three ghostly figures emerged from the ground and stood before her,their eyes burned with fire and it surged out from their mouth,ears and nose,they looked at each other and back at her,they simultaneously stretched their right hands towards her and dark red fire surged out of their hands and rushed towards her,the fire clothed her like a cloak and it made her look like a god of fire,it didn't burn her and she didn't feel any pain,there was no atom of pain in her face, the three figures looked at each other and grinned,they flew towards her and they all entered her making her to scream as pains filled her entire being,making the usual dark red fire that cloaked her become bright red,the fire surged out from her mouth,nose and ears just like the ghostly figures that entered into her.
