*Flashback*

"I have to get out of here before the titans start to form, I wouldn't want to get caught up in the disaster" Annie said, covering her face with a blanket as she headed towards the wall Rose.

On her way there she tripped over a girl carrying a small basket filled with red wine, "I'm sorry" Annie went to her knee and started helping the girl in packing the bottles of wine.

"It's okay, I bumped into you… no need to apologize" The girl said, going on her knees to continue packing the wine.

She wore a white gown and had a small mole at the side of her lips.

While they were packing, they suddenly heard a resonating sound, the sound she heard threw her off the loop as shock took over.

"Not yet, they didn't even give me time to leave the district yet" Annie panicked, taking to her heels as she was about to run.

The girl held Annie's arm, looking at her with a confused look on her face, "Why are you running? Is something the matter?" The girl asked.

Annie pulled her hands away from the girl's grip before she started running away, when she was about to cross to the next street, the roar came in.

The roar was so loud that not even a single ear would have missed that.

Annie stood still, fear written all over her face as she heard the sound of the girl behind her shouting to get her attention.

"Hey! Why did you run off like that?" The girl asked, panting as she drew closer to Annie.

Annie slowly turned to her and in the blink of an eye, everything around her lit up in an instant.

Lightning burst out of buildings and people, and with that lightning came titans, they broke through buildings and began rampaging around the city.

"Titan! How did they get… into the city" The girl panicked, and she turned to see that Annie was at a standstill.

"Annie?" The girl called out. She was about to take a step, but then she finally realized why Annie was feeling hesitant to move.

Around them were three titans, each one moving closer to their location with each step.

Annie had her ring with her, opened and ready to cut if she needed to transform, "What do I do? Transforming now would mean going against Sato, but dying here will end my mission.." She grinned as she struggled to come up with a situation.

The girl grabbed Annie's arm and they began running, "Don't worry, I can get us out of here" The girl said.

While they were running, they encountered multiple titans along the way, but each time they were able to escape without getting caught by the titans.

They finally got to the girl's house and they locked the door behind them.

"Why did you bring me here?" Annie asked, looking at the way the girl was scattering the house looking for something.

"What do you mean? I saved you from the titans didn't I?" The girl said before lifting up a jug and finding a small key underneath.

She picked up the key and went straight to the corner of the house.

Annie looked outside to see titans roaming the streets, each one attacking any human they saw in their vicinity, "I didn't have a choice" Annie said, squeezing the iron with frustration.

The girl then came out of the room with two Odm gears with her and a uniform, "See, I told you I'd find a way" The girl said with a smile on her face.

"Where did you get those?" Annie asked before walking slowly towards the girl.

"My dad is an Mp, and a lazy one at that, these are equipments he brought home every time he has issues with the higher-ups" The girl replied.

She put on the ODM gear and the uniform, "I can do this on my own, when I was a kid, I'd watch soldiers train on the"

"You want to go fight with the titans?" Annie asked.

"There doesn't seem to be any military police around, and it's something that I've always wanted to-"

Anime interrupted again, "You are only 12, skilled or not, a titan wouldn't take pity on you just because you are a child."

"You look twelve too, look, I don't expect you to help, but the least you can do is not get in my way" The girl uttered before opening the door and walking out.

She started propelling her body around with the ODM gear, "Wow! I didn't think it would be this easy" She uttered.

While she was moving around, she spotted Ayato getting cornered by two titans and sought to swoop in.

"Okay there's no turning back now, for better or worse" She was about to propel her body forward.

"Don't just go charging in like that, the titans aren't dumb" Annie showed up at her back, she was using the ODM gear to move her body.

"Annie? You can use an ODM gear?" The girl asked, before landing on one of the buildings.

"I can, my dad was also part of the MPs" Annie responded landing beside the girl as she watched the titans gather around Ayato.

"Are you afraid?" The girl asked.

"No, not really"

"Great, because I want to save him, and I'll need your help" The girl pointed, "A titan's weak point is at the back of their neck, that's what my dad always says."

"I'll take the legs," Annie said before moving out.

"At Least hear the plan first.. jeez" The girl smiled before following behind her.

Annie took out the legs of the two titans at once before the girl sliced up their napes.

Although her first cut barely left a crash on the titan but after multiple cut from both Annie and the girl the titan fell to the ground.

"I did it."The girl uttered, breathing heavily as if she had been running for hours, "I thought I was gonna die!" She laughed.

"You did great if I'm honest, you are just twelve yet you have such good reflexes" Annie uttered.

"Hey, you should run!" The girl screamed, pointing her blade at Ayato.

"Thank you," Ayato said before running off.

Not long after that, they suddenly heard a lightning strike, and the Fulger and attack tiran appeared.

Annie was shocked as she watched them kill the rest of the titans single-handedly, "Is that? The titan shifter Sato told us about? But…there are two of them?" Annie said to herself.
