Orvud church!

"Are you okay? Why did you do that?" Mikasa uttered, running to Ayato who was already on the ground.

She tore off her sleaves and began tying up the injury on Ayato's hand .

"I'm fine, you don't have to worry, we have to meet up with Levi and the rest," Ayato said, looking at Annie who knelt on the floor, with her eyes looking lifeless.

Ayato looked around to see dead bodies lying everywhere, the entire ground covered in blood and gore "Every time I try to save a life, I end up taking more lives," Ayato thought to himself.

"I can put an end to it all, thanks to Ymir, I know exactly what I need to do, I'll make sure I see this to the end even if I die doing so"

Sitting in a pool of blood was Annie, she was still slowly processing Ayato's blood that was in her system.

"Annie!" Ayato called out to her, she looked up at him, it was clear that tears were about to drop from her eyes.

Ayato walked up to her, "I know a way to remove your curse… I spoke with Ymir" Ayato said.

Annie's eyes widened as soon as she heard Ymir, she stood to her feet and moved closer to Ayato, "You spoke with the founder?".

"Yes I did….she gave me valuable information that will help me through this mission, I cured you with my blood, that should take care of the Predator's titan blood on your systems, but it's only temporary" Ayato said, in a direct manner while looking her in the eye.

"But I'm going to need you to work with me on this" Ayato uttered.

"Who's Ymir?" Ava asked.

Suddenly, the Garrison unit started popping out from every corner of the area.

Ava and Mikasa already had their blades ready Incase a fight was about to take place, "Garrisons?" Ava questioned as she saw the Garrison emblem on their uniform.

"Are they working with the Military police now?" Mikasa frowned, moving closer to Ayato.

"Ayato Shikigami!" One of the Garrison troops who looked like he was the leader yelled.

Ayato who was already halfway inside his titan turned and looked at them, giving them a cold stare.

"We were told to escort you to the church Orvud, be at ease, once we recover your teammates, you are to head to shiganshina and bring whatever information you find at the seller."

Ava smiled, "Cheeky little bastard, I knew he'd pull some strings" She walked over to Ayato's titan, "You should go, we'll catch up with you"

"Okay then, I'll meet you guys there, '' Ayato responded.

"I'm coming with you," Mikasa uttered.

"I can't stop you even if I wanted to." Ayato got into his titan and stood up with Mikasa standing on his Titan's shoulder.

Ayato picked up Bertolt from the ground and ran as fast as he could toward the orvud district.

He was running so fast that Mikasa had to hold on to his hair, after minutes had passed by Ayato arrived at the Orvud district.

Ayato had to abandon his titan on his way and walked towards the church on foot.

When they got to the church they hid beside the entrance as they kept hearing the sound of gunshots.

Mikasa held her hands out telling Ayato to wait, she went in and found an underground passage that was opened down.

She followed the passage and it led her to an underground cave that had crystals all over the ceiling and floor.

"What is this place?" Mikasa uttered, as she went deeper into the cave she found the dead bodies of the scouts and Mp laying on the floor.

The entire place was covered in different colors of flare, the battle that had taken place there needed the flare for distractions.

"Hey what did you fi-" Ayato said, standing at the back of Mikasa.

Mikasa immediately drew out her blade and aimed it at Ayato's throat thinking he was an enemy.

"I thought I told you to wait," Mikasa whispered as the gunshots started getting louder.

Ayato pulled her close, placing his hands on her waist before resting his back on the dark part of the cave.

"Shush!" Ayato hushed her, keeping quiet as the Mps passed them without noticing that they were there.

Mikasa's face was beet red, she pushed herself away from Ayato's chest before covering her face with her red scarf.

"Geez, stop acting like a schoolgirl and move it," Ayato said before storming off, "Why is my chest beating so fast?".

"What's a schoolgirl?" Mikasa asked, before running after Ayato.

When they got even deeper into the cave, they were invited in by Levi's raging scream as he swung his blade at Kenny.

And all up on the ceiling were MPs and scouts battling each other.

"Ayato, Mikasa!" Armin yelled, he and Connie were hiding trying to avoid getting hit by a stray bullet.

"Thank goodness, they are still alive." Ayato uttered, feeling relived.

"You have to go in," Armin yelled, pointing at the passage that was on the opposite side of the cave, "Eren and Krista are in there."

"Okay, don't you dare die" Ayato started running, unlike the others he didn't have aODMdm gear and didn't bother getting one.

Mikasa kept protecting him from the MPs that were trying to stop his advance, Ayato ran as fast as he could but ended up getting shot in the leg.

And Mp landed on the floor and aimed his gun at him.

"Ayato!" Mikasa yelled, she was ready to go in and rescue him but her path got blocked by two other MPs, "Get away from me!" Mikasa fought back.

Ayato was right in the range of a gun and the mp did not have a merciful look on his face, "Damn it, what do I do?" Ayato slowly moved his hands to his mouth, "Do I take the risk of being shot and everything ending here, or do I transform and end up killing everyone, not yet… I can't die yet" He was about to bite his hand.

With lightning speed, Ava whooshed into the cave and rotated her body in a manner that made her movement seem like she was an actual snake.

She showed up at the back of the mp and slit his neck before taking out the rest of the Mp that was blocking the path.

"Go!!!" Ava yelled.

Screaming, Ayato took to his feet and began running, ignoring his bleeding leg.

He finally went into the cave and the first thing he saw was Eren being tied up and Krista being held down by her father who was holding an injection with jom.

"Just perfect," Ayato said.
