54 Expenditure 5 [Female titan vs Ayato]

Ayato watched as the female titan got to her feet, he took a fighting stance, getting ready to strike if she made a move.

"Okay easy, I pin her down here before she gets a chance to get Eren, it's obvious it's him they want." Ayato looked to his left and saw Ava and Historia leading two horses to Armin and his squad.

"Perfect, great get them out of her, I won't hold back"

The two titans stared each other down for a few seconds before Ayato charged toward her with a roar.

The first punch he wanted to throw at her was dodged, he kept on throwing his punches, trying to land precise attacks, but still, he wasn't able to land a single hit.

When it was finally time for the female titan to attack, she held his hand and swept him to the ground with her legs.

Holding him down and she began to throw punches at his face.

"Get off me, you crazy-" Ayato wrapped his legs around her neck, pulling her down before going for the arm bar.

He gave out a loud shriek as he forcefully tried to rip her hands from her body.

She was able to maneuver and free herself but Ayato wasn't ready to let go yet, He charged toward her and landed a spear, pushing her to the ground.

"I wonder what kind of face you are making right now, tch! you… are nothing but a piece of trash!" Ayato yelled as he started throwing assertive punches at her.

His aim was her head, but she kept dodging it, so all his punches were hitting the ground.

The female titan grabbed hold of his hand and punched him away with her legs, almost ripping his arm off his body.

Ayato looked at his hands, dangling in the air, he pushed them back in and they automatically attached themselves back.

Before he could take a step, the female titan was already in front of him, she hardened her first with a silver crystal-like substance and began punching Ayato in the face.

The punches came on coming, Ayato's titan jaw was already so damaged that it couldn't close up anymore.

He fell to the floor, with his back on the ground, "What? What's happening?" He was completely shocked at how the female titan was overpowering him.

She leaped to the sky, landing on Ayato with her knee, a sharp and powerful attack landed on the gut of the titan.

She then started moving towards the center rank while dragging Ayato's titan on the floor with his legs.

She didn't bother to pull him out of his titan, she was confident that she would get Eren and Ayato back to the ones who sent her.

*Kill her*

Ayato suddenly heard a voice in his head.

*What are you waiting for? Kill her*

"Shut up" Ayato yelled as the voice kept repeating that statement over and over again.

"Fine, just shut the hell up!".

The female titan was running toward the center flank while dragging Ayato's titan along.

She noticed that Ayato's titan was hard to pull, so she turned to check, only to see that he was holding a tree with one of his hands.

She dropped his leg and walked over to his hands, using her legs to stomp his arm she was able to break it in two.

She was about to head back when Ayato's titan suddenly jumped on her, holding her to the side with one arm so she wouldn't move.

She wanted to get free, struggling to move him away from her neck, but he wouldn't let go.

So she sought to punch him, and that was when another lightning strike appeared behind her.

She turned to check and saw another one of Ayato's titans behind her, he already had his punch locked and loaded. His fist was surrounded by so much lightning power that even he could feel the heat.

"Exactly, as planned, I can't miss this range!" He yelled.

At the range he was at, he knew he wouldn't be able to miss, or so he thought.

She raised her hands to the sky, using Ayato's total weight against him, she placed her armpit on his biceps, twisting his punch to the lower part of his body.

His fist hit the ground and both his leg and the ground exploded, he fell to his knee with only one of his legs still intact.

"How did she?" Ayato's eyes were filled with confusion, he looked up to see the female titan running away from him and heading to the center flank.

"She's going for the center, like hell she is'' Ayato chased after her, hoping forward with his hand supporting his leg.

From the way the female titan was struggling to move, it was certain to Ayato that she took some damage when she evaded that punch.

Commander Erwin and his flank arrived at a path that was filled with trees, the formation wouldn't fit through so he made a call.

"Tell the other squads behind us, no one is to enter the forest except for the center defense squad," He told one of his soldiers.

"Okay sir" The soldier departed.

"If Ayato isn't able to hold her down, then we head back to the main plan," Commander thought to himself.

The other flank took a detour around the forest, they were ordered to stand guard on the trees and stop any titan from entering.

Of course, they had issues with this, especially Jean, he was confused as to why they had to be sitting ducks where they could easily be spotted and killed.

Captain Levi and his team entered the forest a few minutes after commander Erwin did, and Eren couldn't make sense of it either.

"Captain Levi sir? What are we doing in the forest? Wouldn't it be better if we went around it like the rest?" Even asked.

"Just shut up and keep riding," Levi replied.

"But sir, we won't know when a titan is around until it's right on top of us, what are we supposed to do then? Run or defend the wagons?" Even asked, desperately trying to get answers.

"Move on from the obvious already, we are doing neither of those, take a look around you, see these big ass trees? The perfect environment for ODM gears don't you think?"

Even looked around and saw the confusion on all the soldier's faces "Uhm.. .s sir?"

Then suddenly there was a loud blast, Eren turned to check what the blast was all about, only to see a soldier getting squashed by the female titan who was charging toward them.

And just behind her was Ayato, who was constantly grabbing her legs and slowing her down even though she kept on kicking him away.

"Captain Levi !" Even yelled.

"Don't look back, keep riding, damn it" Levi rasped.
