“I’m…… What am I?”

Reko suddenly felt the pain just, disappear. Right as he thought he was dead, he realized he could still move. He opened his eyes to see a lush green forest. The trees looked like skyscrapers, towering through the clouds. There were vines on some of them, some were bright green and some were a deep red. The green and red vines had berries on them, the red had berries the size of apples, looking like they would fall of any second. The green vines had bright blue berries that looked like blueberries.

"Where… am I?"

Reko tried to stand on two legs, but when he pulled up his arms he saw two paws the on the ground. As soon as he began to process the sight, something pounced from the shadows.

Reko didn't see what it was, he only was able to desperately flail. He felt it's claws slice his back, yet no pain came. He only felt a strange tingling sensation in his back. He slammed his back into a nearby tree, he heard a wince as he turned around and ran. He ran and ran, he didn't even notice the fact he didn't feel out of breath at all. His mind kept repeating one word over and over again, 'Run'. He kept going and going until he heard a low growl. He was terrified. He ran at full speed, then he heard the growl again, realizing it was his stomach. He stopped running as he looked at himself. He looked at whatever he could about himself as he wondered,

"I'm... What am I?
