Chapter 23 | Battle of Ryloth

As time passed and more battles happening with plenty of planets being taken for the empire and the CIS as it stands right now the Republic is losing more and more of its territories as the war goes on. The Senate has noticed this and is trying to get more funding for their clones but ever since Jake left the Republic a decent portion of their funding disappeared

Ryloth's senator sees the potential to save this planet by offering funds if his planet gets recaptured as the CIS has its hands on it taking its people as slaves and looting the planet dry the Republic then sent Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano to eliminate the separatist blockade

As the Jedi and a fleet of clones made their way to Ryloth to destroy the separatist blockade Ahsoka asked "Master did you not almost join the Sith how was he did he try and kidnap you? " Anakin replied " he didn't try and kidnap me Padawan he offered me a job as an engineer for his fleet and didn't even try and trick me as he said the Jedi wouldn't let me Tinker with tech and he was right in the end "

Ahsoka was surprised at that but asked something else " So master if you had a choice to pick again would you join him " he replies " I don't know what I would have picked if I knew he didn't lie " A clone walked up to him and said " sir we are almost at Ryloyh what would you like us to do " Anakin turns to the clone and said " just go into your battle positions" he turned back to his Padawan and says " we will talk of this later "

As the Republic fleet enters the Ryloths system they send out their fighters to start the battle Anakin is currently flying in an Eta-2 battling a few vulture droids after some amazing flying he managed to destroy the ships, same can't be said for the clones as the fight is looking like anyone's after 5 long hours of battle the Republic manage to destroy the blockade but not without any casualties the 501 fleet is on its last straws

Anakin informed Obi-wan and Mace Windu that "Masters the blockade has been destroyed " Obi-wan was the one to respond " Good job Anakin we will be there in 5 minutes " And they did just that two Republic fleets enters the system

They then sent most of the clones on board to land on the planet as their job is to take out the separatist that are on the planet. As they land a droid Army was quick to intercept them it numbered 200,000 the clothes that landed numbered 4 million so they defeated the droids with low casualties only 30 thousand

Obi-wan and a group of his clones went to destroy the proton cannons that were in the city same address you're throwing them all with little casualties as they fought with the security that was stationed around them

Mace Windu and his clone company suffered casualties after fighting separatist tanks leaving a list of the Freedom Fighters that were left on the planet to help them after convincing them to help them they then went to activate the plasma Bridge as that's the only entrance to the city after battling the Droids that were stationed there they found Emir because his tactical Droid took his space shuttle and left without him after taking the city the two high Jedi then left the planet leaving the rest of the separatist bases to Anakin and the 501st

the remaining members of the 501st then sent attack squads to known separatist hideouts to take them out after weeks of campaigning they managed to destroy all of the separatists from the planet they then reported what went down to the senator of the planet ending the battle of Ryloth

With the planet back under Republic control nothing changed the 501st regiment needed to get more troops after the loss of over 2/3 of their Army Ahsoka asked Anakin "Master I didn't like the feeling of the planet when we got there will I have to feel that whenever we got to battle " Anakin says " Yes Snips what you felt was the suffering of the people remember if you ever feel that something is wrong "

with our main character, Jake got news of the battle it didn't mean much to him as that planet is not an ideal location to be worth taking but thanks to that direction two of the Jedi Council Members were distracted allowing him to take more planets from the Republic giving him 15 more

Jake's summons are currently on their way to a strategic location it is an asteroid field close to the Republic core Jake can hide multiple fleets of ships there he also assumes that there will be a decent amount of Republic ships as they should understand that is an important place to hold

as the fleet arrived it got ambushed by Republic ships Jake's ships send out their Fighters to try and make room for them to escape into hyperspace to report what they found that's the fighters were trying to shoot down asteroids they were getting shut down by the republic ships not allowing them to escape the commander of the fleet then ordered small ships to escape hyperspace to report this back to Jake

the fleet was on its last legs from the pressure the republic ships are shooting with their Fleet protecting the smaller ships so they can enter hyperspace after a long dog fight one of Jake's fleets got destroyed three strips managed to enter and are on the way to report back to Jake what happened
