[You have slain Boss Monster: Kobold Kapitan – Level 24.]
"…. Huh. I thought I would struggle a bit, but okay?"
(The boss himself wasn't that strong but he had ability to summon kobold reinforcements that assisted him, but that kind of worked for me since I could use the summons corpse to make new undeads.)
(Honestly, I had advantage against him big time.)
"Anyway."
[Level 24]
[Create: Lesser Skelton Servant] – [Level 10]
↓
[Create: Skeleton Servant] – [Level 1] – [Cost: 40 points]
(It took some time but I finally manage to get that skill on level 10.)
(And on top of that, new skill got added to the list.)
([Create: Skeleton Servant]. This skills is branched skill of [Create: Lesser Skeleton Soldier].)
(I read the skill description and pretty much, this skill does the same thing as the previous version, but it makes the stronger version of the lesser skeleton servant. It also has bonus effect of increases lesser skeleton servant number by 1 for each level.)
(The base stats of the skeleton servant is much higher compare to the lesser skeleton servant. However, as the trade off the cost of the single skeleton servant is 10 instead of 5.)
(There is also fact that the cost of the lesser skeleton servant got increases by 1 when I made level 20 and above version. Probably skeleton servant cost will also increase by 1 or more when made.)
"But overall, it is honestly very worth picking this skill."
"The skeleton servants are quite weak anyway and making new ones over and over in battle does use lot of mana. It honestly maybe a better idea to just have bunch of stronger undead working for me that won't die so easily."
[You have spent 30 skill points.]
[You have learned skill [Create: Skeleton Servant] level 1.]
"Now then. [Create: Skeleton Servant]."
ClownFrog used the newly acquired skill to summon a new undead creature from the corpse nearby.
(Huh. So, the cost in term of body/bodies is still the same.)
[Skeleton Servant]
[Lesser Skeleton Servant]
"…."
"Both of you look exactly alike. I thought they would different or something, but nope."
"The only difference between you are your names and your stats."
(The cost increase for the level 24 is 2. The current cost of the skeleton servant are 12. So, it increases by 2 instead by 1 like with lesser skeleton servant.)
"Well, it shouldn't bother me too much now. I can still only summon 2 of these skeletons and I don't know how long it will take to level up that skill."
(Speaking of the skills. The two upgrade skills I got for the skeleton servants at level 9 and I think I should be able to level up them both to level 10 today. I wonder what they unlock.)
(Anyway, I already done all 3 quest I got from the guild, I think should start heading back and take some other quest that takes me to higher level areas.)
ClownFrog decided to walk back while being accompanied by his undead creatures.
"…."
"…."
(Huh. Now I think about it, I haven't meet any other players in this area yet. That bit weird.)
While walking through the forest, suddenly one of the ClownFrog lesser skeleton servants got hit right in the head by the arrow.
"?!"
"Hm? Wait! Stop! This is necromancer!" – a female voice could be heard coming from somewhere.
"Wait, what?!" – said a man after revealing himself from behind a tree.
(?)
(Who are these people? Are they in party?)
"I'm very sorry! We though that undead was just monster roaming around! We didn't realized it was your undead." – said the female human player wearing nun outfit.
"Yea. Sorry mate. I kind of forgot that players can also be necromancer in the game. The fault is entirely mine." – said the man with the bow.
"…."
(Something is off.)
"I'm sorry for asking, but can I ask you something? You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but how long you were hunting here for?" – asked ClownFrog.
"Us? Well, for quite some time. Why you ask?" – said the nun.
"Well just got to the city today and I still don't know what kind of monsters appear here and all. Does undead appear here often?"
"Hm? Yea, yea. They look very like the skeleton you have right now. They sometimes appear in this area and more in areas bit deeper parts of the forest." – replied the nun.
"Hm... I see. Thank you for info." – said ClownFrog.
"You are welcomed." – replied the nun.
Suddenly ClownFrog remember a face of the people he was familiar with after talking to the pair of players.
"Oh, and one more thing."
"Yes?"
"[Burning Skull]."
ClownFrog shot the magic skill straight at the pair of players and before they could react the attack hit them head on.
"Get them." – said ClownFrog, ordering his undead to attack the players.
"What – FUCK!" – said the bow user while blocking in time the with his bow the skeleton servant attack.
"Hey! What the hell is your problem!?"– asked nun.
"You are PK players, aren't you? When you lie at least come up with better lie." – said ClownFrog,
[Player killers A.K.A PK players]
[Simple put it's a term that refers to a player that kills other players for a reason like, trying to steal their items, hindering the other players monster hunting or just plain up bullying them. There could be many reason why players killers do things but usually they often are related to trouble. Ever since the day one there was problem with some people becoming players killers and making troubles.]
(I've read about this online on the post. People are warning others about people acting too friendly or making very weird mistakes that could kill somebody.)
(However, I wasn't expecting to run into PK players so soon. Just my freaking luck.)
(But thank god they were kind of stupid. There is no undead monsters in this forest. I read on the adventure guild board about the monsters that appear here and there was no quest or anything about undeads.)
(However, something is still off.)
While ClownFrog was wondering what the heck was going on. He noticed a shadow suddenly emerging above him and immediately after noticing it he jumped backwards, barely dodging the sword attack from above.
"Tch. Your slipring bastard." – said the swordman that just tried to kill ClownFrog.
(There was more of them!)
After dodging the attack, ClownFrog noticed something coming towards him from his left and when he looked, he saw a ball of fire coming at him before getting hit head on.
"Fuck!" – said ClownFrog after taking the hit.
(Even more?!)
From the direction where the attack just came, a blond haired woman emergent.
(4 against 1 huh? For fuck's sake. I just wanted to hunt in peace.)
"Hey unliving lizardman over there. How about a deal?" – said the blond haired woman.
"How about you give us the cape you are wearing as well as the staff you have and we will let you go?"
"…. Do you really think I'm dumb enough to accept it?"
"Who knows? You don't have any chance of surviving this in the first place. So, you should just hand over the items."
"Bullshit. You would probably still kill me even when gave you those. And on top of that if I die there is no guarantee you will get either the staff or the clock."
"Tch. Smartass. [Fire Ball]."
The blond haired woman shot a ball of fire straight at the ClownFrog, but before it could reach him, the ball exploded meters before it touched him.
"?"
From the flames, an undead kobold with burning body emergent and rushed straight at the mage.
"What the?!"
The mage tried firing another attack at the undead, however it only took the attack head on and closed the distance with blond haired mage before attacking her and stabbing her with its sword.
"AAAAAHHH! MARK! GET THIS THING OFF ME!"
"Y-yes!" – said the swordman while rushing towards the mage.
However, before the swordman could get closer to the mage, several projectiles came flying straight at him.
"Do you really think I let you?"
"YOU FUKING PIECE OF TRASH!" – shouted the swordman while trying rushing towards the ClownFrog.
"Idiot. You lost your cool. [Burning Skull]."
ClownFrog fired another [Burning Skull] skill, hitting the swordman head on and knocking him away, however when the swordman tried getting up again, two kobold skeletons jumped on him and beginned stabbing him while he tried defend himself.
[Lesser Skeleton Servant was slain.]
"Shit! Shit! Why does he have so much skeletons?!" – said the nun while firing the light element attacks.
"[Necro Shot]."
While the nun was fighting against the undead skeletons, she suddenly got shot by ClownFrog.
"Sorry, but since you are priest, you have to go."
After focusing fire on the priest, she ended up getting quickly killed by ClownFrog and undead. Afterwords the skeletons that were fighting against the priest joined in against the archer that tried to do anything to fight back or run away and gain distance, however as soon as the other skeletons joined in, his chances of survival became grim.
[Kobold – Burning Skeleton was slain.]
"?"
"Oh. You killed the kobold. Took you long enough." – said ClownFrog.
"YOU FUKING BITCH! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" – shouted the mage.
"You are welcomed to try, but just so you know."
"You are the only one left alive."
"?!"
The mage quickly looked around and saw the corpse of her comrades slowly disappearing, making the visual effect of players dying appear.
"So, what did you said? Miss bitch?" – asked the ClownFrog while the undead began approaching the mage.
The mage tried fighting back and running however all of her efforts were in vain because she ended up dying moments later.
"…."
"Huh. That was bit too easy?"
(They did had nice planned ambush and they even manage to hit me once, but they screw up by plain up lying straight up to my face and on top of that those guys even lost their cool too quickly.)
(For crying out loud. How the heck did they though that they could manage to PK anybody. They acted and were beaten like some sort of NPC group of bandits from old games.)
(Its honestly quiet stupid.)
"Hm? Oh. They dropped something?"
(Oh right. When you kill player, you get karma points and the more you have the more you have chance of dropping items.)
(Huh. Lucky me.)
ClownFrog walked toward the item dropped by the mage, however as soon as he got near him, something suddenly pierced right though his shoulder.
