Morning Routine

Rudy woke up from the nightmare that had haunted him for months about the accident that happened to him and his father.
*Knock!* *Knock!* *Knock!*
"Son, are you alright?"

Rudy got up and sat on the bed.
"Can you come out of the room for a while, son? It's time for breakfast."
"....Eerrr..... you can put it in front of the door, it's hard to go downstairs...."

Lily looked rather happy to hear that her son was willing to socialize again even though she was not sure if her son's old nature would return.
"Alright, after work I'll buy you pizza and fast food that you like~"

When it was late afternoon and the bell rang, Rudi started to get out of his bed using Crutch.

Rudy opened the front door of his house and met Andre, Austin, and Lala.

Everyone was surprised to see Rudy's Skinny body, even though they hadn't seen him for 6 months.
Rudy and his friends chatted in the living room while waiting for the pizza to arrive.
"Andre, where's Jill?"
"He said she's busy in another city doing job training as a civil servant"
"Civil servant...in what department?"
"National defense"
"Like the police?"
"More or less, she's been training for 9 months after graduating from high school"
"Ohh...what are you busy with now?"
"I'm a Computer Science student at Jacob's University right now. I was on a scholarship with an athlete's scholarship"

Rudy's face looked even sadder than before hearing the news about Jill and Andre's life. Lala saw this and looked worried for him and tried to change the subject to another conversation.

Andre went out and returned with a large peeled melon.

Lala brought a Brandy drink.
Austin brought two gifts the video game "Skywind" and a novel a story based on Skywind.
"This is from me and the other is from Jill. Psst mine is the video game lol"

"Hi everyone, long time no see~. I have pizza for you all hehe" Lily returned from her work with a pizza.
Lili looked happy to see her son's friends visiting her house, she remembered the old days when Rudy was young and happy with his friends.
Lala replied, "Oh thank you, Mrs. Hoyt, we're sorry for the trouble"
"Oh it's okay, Rudy himself asked for pizza for all of you, by the way, how are you all, what are you doing now?"
"I work at the store, and Austin and Andre go to college"
"Oh that sounds great, wait here, I'll cut the pizza and I'll share the brandies with all of you"Lily Hoyt went into the kitchen to get a pizza cutter and glasses to distribute Brandi and the pizza. After that Lily distributed the pizza and drinks to everyone.
Everyone picked up their drinks.

Everyone looked happy and talked about many things, Andre started trying a new game with Rudy, and Austin took many slices of pizza and sat on the sofa. Meanwhile Lily and Lala went to the second floor.
"Lala, Thank you all for coming when I invited you here."
"It's okay, we want to visit him too, how is he doing now"
"It's getting worse, I don't even know what to do now...working and having to take care of a kid like Rudy"
"Take care?!" Lala replied sarcastically in a passive-aggressive manner.
"You should know since he lost his left leg and his father he's not like he used to be, he rarely eats, rarely bathes, he never comes out of his room unless it's something important, and he never even tells me what he's doing when he's out alone,...now when I talk to him I feel like....we're strangers. I've tried everything...I just want my baby back." Lily began to shed tears.

Lala hugged Lily and patted her back.
Meanwhile in the living room.
Rudy saw Austin wearing very neat clothes and on his chest, he had a pin that read "Henry Enden for Jacob City".

Lala and Lily went down to the first floor to refill their Brandy and continued drinking there. Meanwhile, Rudy and Andre were seen playing Skywind, while Autin was on the sofa just focusing on eating pizza and drinking brandy.

I was supposed to be ME!, I was supposed to be the winner of the tournament champion, I was supposed to get into Jacob University, and my FATHER was supposed to be still alive right now! But instead, I'm handicapped and my father is dead because of those damn thugs!"
Lily and Lala heard the scream and ran toward the living room.
"RUDY HOYT, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, your friends took the time out of their busy schedules to visit you and even help you, and this is how you repay them!"
"VISITING ME?, THEY'RE JUST HERE TO SHOW OFF THEIR FUTURE AND INSULT ME AS A LOSER."
"Rudy... "Lily started crying.
Lily ran out of the living room.
"GET OUT, GET OUT, I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN FOR-E-VER" Rudy looked with hateful eyes towards everyone.
Everyone there looked shocked and couldn't believe what they were hearing.
"Andre...Lala....let's get out of here, Rudy needs some time alone right now."
Andre looked away with a very angry face, Austin could only leave shaking his head while hugging Lala who was crying hysterically.
Rudy went straight back to his room.
Rudy locked the door and started looking for something.
"Assholes, assholes, assholes, where's the fucking is my syringe?"
He found a syringe in the bottom drawer.
"Shit!, this is the last one."
Rudy immediately injected it negligently in his arm, there were many infected puncture wounds on his arm. It seems he is addicted to heroin.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...." Rudy was lying on his bed and lost his thought in his head.
