Operating the Heartless Mantra,I delved in to the deepest part of my consciousness where I saw a dark rune fluctuating with an aura of Destruction,Death and Slaughter.I had a solemn expression looking at the cause of my rebirth and inability to absorb Qi,in the past,I never dared touching it fearing erasure but thanks to me reaching the 2nd layer of the Heartless Mantra,I had confidence in succeeding the trial left by my Ancestors.

Taking a deep breath,i touched the rune which upon contact, it seemed to activate a mechanism directly sucking my consciousness causing my mind to go blank.

Waking up after a long time,I surveyed my surroundings only to find dead bodies littering everywhere with the sky painted red making me wonder if it's the normal color or a man-made blood mist

[Quest initiated:In the age of old, Demons rampaged in all directions laying waste to all who dared opposed them.Among them were ten unique demons whom were birth directly from the source of the world,they were named The Heavenly Demons with each of them possessing the power to battle tens of experts in thesame Realm and emerging victorious and fueled by their destructive nature,they invaded numerous realms successfully till they met the Gods of the God Realm whom where equally powerful in terms of strength and Heavenly Gods,thus due to their conflicting nature a thousand year blood war emerged staining the void with blood of both races till the interference of the powerhouses of the Heavenly Beasts.Normally everything was going well till the news about the Everlasting Heavenly Demon Venerable attempting a breakthrough to become a Chaotic Diety alarming all the powerhouses stuck at the same realm as him.

In their fear,they plotted his demise planning to attack during his weakest moments and succeed they did for the Everlasting Heavenly Demon Venerable never imagined in his wildest dream his that his beloved would plunge a cursed dagger straight through his heart seriously injuring him and though he survived the stab,he was later besieged by 28 Heavenly Venerables of the 3 main races accompanied by 10000 elite of all races forming a Coalition Army with the weakest among them being at the Immortal Emperor Realm.The battle lasted for one full month shocking the entire World due to the splendor of the  Everlasting Heavenly Demon Venerable whom despite being severely injured,he managed to slaughter a full 20 Heavenly Venerables while massacring more than 99% of the Coalition Army with a mere than 10 Immortal Emperors managing to luckily survive before he died of exhaustion].

Digesting the shocking information,I felt terrified knowing I just entered the same battlefield mentioned by the system and I dreaded the nagging feeling of what was coming next.

'Sigh~ it's finished, I'm finished' Were my thoughts seeing the mission given by the system,like hell i can survive this deadzone heck I'm still surprised I'm alive considering I'm just a mere Immortal Empe-...wait an Immortal Emperor' Realising my current Realm I guffawed with wild joy due to my chances of survival increasing by a 5% with me being qualified to atleast participate and reap  benefits in this Legendary battle.

Calming down,I realized I could still access my storage ring making me feel a bit of relief.Searching the surrounding,I detected no presence of life before I evacuated the area leaving this dead zone while searching for where to spend the night.By midnight,i found an abandoned cave which I occupied after verifying it's security many times before i started inspecting point body

Not even 20 minutes later i was startled awake by the loud explosion almost deafening my ear only to see the cave i resided in nearly collapsing and despite my reluctance to facing the danger outside,i had no choice but to get out from here lest i get crushed by the  falling boulders.

Taking a deep breath,I dashed for the exit with full force using the talismans I found on this body whom I presume was an Immortal Emperor talented in the way of Arrays, Talismans.

Thankfully,i managed in escaping before the cave's collapse but I felt no joy and instead I felt an innate fear coming from the depths of my soul upon looking at countless powerhouses attacking a man whom despite being outnumbered,he had a confident smile filled with disdain plastered on his face while the faint mockery in his eyes seemed to enrage his assailants more causing them to become aggressive with each displaying numerous forbidden weapons and Dharma idols fueled by peerless techniques radiating dreadful concepts but alas no matter how powerful their attacks were,all the Everlasting Heavenly Demon Venerable needed was a simple wave of his hands materializing a mirror with an Ancient aura which absorbed the attacks with ease.

"You dregs really think that just because of my carelessness you could kill me" looking at the 28 experts who had a look of horror and massive killing intent in their eyes, Lord Everlasting gave them a mocking gaze but deep in his eyes he had deep regrets and hatred towards the cause of all this

"Y-Yo-You have already reached the Half-Step Diety Realm" uttered an old man while pointing at Lord Everlasting with a look of shock and horror shocking the other experts into a daze.

"One million years,One million years I've been stranded at the Ancient Venerable Realm despite my peerless talent but you- cough cough YOU DO NOT MERIT TO EXIST!!!" shouted Yaweh the leader amongst the powerhouses of the God Realm while coughing blood in raging jealousy.

"Everyone attack with all you have don't hold back" he ordered with a ruthless gaze while burning his innate God Origin boosting his power several times higher than his past self.
