Chapter 27 Hyuuga Hinata

Hinata had always been bullied by the other kids since she was five years old.

No one in the clan would help her because they put importance on strength. Hinata even wondered about it. Was it really the case?

'They are not even that strong. My father and the elders still got beaten up badly by the Uchiha clan… If they are not that strong themselves, why put everyone in such a direction of the thing they didn't even have?'

Her thought was savage and different from what she let out for everyone to see.

Hinata sighed.

Everyone in the clan always talked behind her back about her not worthy for the position of the heir.

'Did anyone ever ask me If I want to be an heir or not.'

She had no right to use the Hyuuga name.

'Again, did anyone ever ask me if I want to move out of the clan.'

Hinata had been hurt and felt abandoned by her family but because she was strong in her own way. She would never break down and lose the will to live.

She just didn't understand why people would want to hurt each other that much.

"Why is everyone so cruel? I just don't want to hurt anyone."

Hinata was gentle and never wanted to harm anyone. She just wanted to live her life peacefully.

However, because she was the heir of the Hyuuga clan. She couldn't avoid the fate of being forced to do what she didn't want to.

She didn't want to fight with her baby little sister. She didn't want to hurt the brunch house servants.

Even though she didn't want to do any of that. She was forced to do it.

And today, she wanted to go to the clan to buy her favorite cinnamon roll. It was the only thing that could comfort her in the harsh reality she was in.

However, she knew fate would not let her go easily.

'Am I going to become my cousin Neji?'

She shook her head and stopped thinking about fate.

"Hey, look, Isn't that the Freaky White Eyes Girl? We haven't seen her for quite some time now."

"Why don't we go and greet her! Hehe."

"Yes, let's go and greet her together like we always do!"

The bullies went toward Hinata in order for them to make fun of her.

These kids only bullied those who were weaker than them and Hinata even though she was stronger than them but because she didn't want to hurt anyone. She let herself be the target of the bully.

"Hey, freak. Where are you going at this time?"

Hinata looked at the bullies and she felt tired. She just ran away from the bigots at home and now this.

'What am I thinking? I shouldn't use bad words.'

"Hey, are you deft, freak? Not only are you blind you are deft as well."

They mocked her with everything they could find.

Hinata wanted to leave but the bullies still walked along with her and mocked her.

Hinata acted like she didn't hear or didn't see anything until one of the bullies started to physically harm her. 

He pushed her and she fell into the snow on the ground.

"Haha, look at the freak! That's for not answering me, idiot!"

Hinata felt bad but not to the point of crying. She stood up and wanted to walk away.

The bullies felt humiliated. They shouted at her.

"Hey! You bitc–"

But before he could do something to her again. A snow ball was thrown at him with great speed.

The snow ball hit its target and even gave the bullies' nose to bleed.

"What…"

"You shouldn't bother people who don't want to talk to you. That's not nice."

Hinata was surprised that someone would appear and help her. He even beat the bullies with snowballs.

"Are you alright? Sorry, I came to help you late. My name is Uzumaki Senju Naruto. Nice to meet ya."

Naruto introduced himself to Hinata. He was still excited about his new surname and would always use it if he had the chance.

"Uzumaki Senju Naruto?"

As the heir of the Hyuuga clan. She was taught about the village's history. She knew about Uzumaki and Senju. To think that the boy who helped her came from such a clan.

"You want to die along with her as well? I will make your dream come through then!"

The bullies wanted to attack Naruto but they couldn't do anything as Naruto used the air flick technique on them.

He flicked and made a bullet of air to hit them on the point they would feel hurt most.

The bullies scream in pain as they fall to the ground and wiggle around.

Hinata saw that and couldn't help but admire how cool Naruto was. She didn't hurt anyone because she didn't want to but she also didn't have a habit of stopping others from hurting others.

It wasn't her business in any way.

The bullies were beaten easily by Naruto.

They painfully looked at Naruto and when they were sure that they could not beat Naruto what they did was to run away from him as fast as they could. 

"You freaks should stay together!"

"Yeah, go and die somewhere you freaks!"

They threw insults at them while crying and ran away in fear.

Naruto heard that and he didn't feel anything. He was called so much worse than that before.

"They sure run fast huh. Whatever, Hey are you alright there?"

Naruto was taught by both Tsunade and Daji that he should be a gentleman toward women.

And he would do so.

He helped check Hinata's body if she was alright. And when he found that she was truly okay. He then asked her.

"Aren't you not from the Hyuuga Clan? Why are you not fighting back? I can tell that you have practiced your clan martial arts and are stronger than them."

Naruto really didn't understand her at all.

Hinata heard that and couldn't find a word. She couldn't say it out of her mouth that she didn't want to hurt someone.

She was afraid that Naruto would look down on her because of her weak mind. He had come from such a big clan after all.

"From your reaction. You must not want to hurt anyone right."

Naruto could see through people easily. And Hinata wasn't an exception.

She shyly nodded. 

No one could understand her like Naruto did before. He just looked at her and knew right away that she didn't want to hurt anyone.

She didn't even need to speak.

"Yes, but they always want to harm me."

Hinata's voice was low and almost couldn't be heard by normal people. However, Naruto could hear her clearly.

"That's because they think you are weak. Trying not to harm someone who tries to harm you is stupid. At least you should try to protect yourself."

Naruto was brutally honest with her. He also thought like her once but not anymore.

Hinata knew that but she really couldn't bring herself to hurt people. She didn't like to see their expressions.

Seeing Hinata become depressed made Naruto feel uncomfortable so he changed the subject.

He didn't want to be ungentleman.

"Are you going somewhere? Can I go with you? I have a lot of free time today. And what is your name by the way?"

Naruto's way of trying to change the subject was noticed by Hinata and she couldn't help but think that he was really nice.

She felt embarrassed after she realized that she hadn't introduced herself to him yet.

"I–I am very sorry that I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Hyuuga Hinata. I am going to my favorite bakery shop to buy my favorite cinnamon rolls and Yes, You can come with me."

Hinata wanted to have a friend and Naruto might be someone who might be kind enough to be her friend.

Naruto smiled and told her to lead the way.

They then walked to the bakery that wasn't far from where they were.

While they walked toward the bakery. Naruto suddenly looked at a tree nearby.

He could see a Hyuuga member watching over them. He must be the guard that should protect Hinata from harm.

However, it seemed like he hadn't done his job well.

'She has a guard but he didn't do anything to help her when she was being bullied.'

The Hyuuga guard clearly remembered who he was. He seemed to hold grudges against him.

He tried to come out to bring Hinata back. But before he could come out. He felt someone grabbing his shoulder.

"Stay where you are and don't go out. Otherwise, you might not be able to return to your clan safely."

"Shadow clone?"

The Hyuuga guard of course wouldn't listen to him. He quickly turned around to attack Naruto's clone.

He used the gentle fist technique to attack him.

"Too slow."

Naruto's clone could see him clearly in slow motion. He blocked his attack and pinned him down with his foot on the tree branch.

The Hyuuga guard wanted to stand up but he found that he couldn't move.

Naruto's clones only have one tenth of the strength of the original. This meant that the original was far stronger than Chunin level Shinobi.

He looked that young but already had such strength.

"You have finally shown your true color. You demon fox!"

The Hyuuga guard finally said that and Naruto's clone laughed gleefully.

"So what if am I? What can you do about it? You are just a piece of worthless trash that no one even wants. You got that beautiful slave mark on your forehead because of that wasn't it. Keke."

Naruto's clone eyes shine red. His personality was quite different from the original.

That was because it was made from primordial Qi and not normal Chakra.

The Hyuuga guard felt really angry. That was the reason why he didn't want to help Hinata. While he was being enslaved. Hinata was free to do whatever she wished.

Even though she was weak no one dared to say anything because of tradition.

He would wait until she fell from the position as the heir and beat her up to vent out his anger!

"And you dare call me a demon. You are the demon here dude."

Naruto's clone knocked him out and then dispelled himself. All the information he had would go to the original after this.
