Izana squeezed his lips together as a piercing heat pervaded the air.

"She's truly got her edge, hasn't she?" Izana asked the goddess.

[Yep and surely a powerful adversary, It hasn't been too long into your battle and she already is getting a hang of her fire, using it for something other than boiling bathing water for you]

Izana sighed as the arrow made of flames shot through the air and collided with the orb of POD, an explosion ringing through the air as colossal flames and POD raged in the sky. 

The explosion disappeared shortly after and Seth had vanished, Izana's lips curled into a smile as he quickly reached out for his left side to catch Seth's fist.

"The feeling of the battle… I can't believe I had forgotten about this," Seth said as it almost looked like she was in a trance-

Izana had been warned about this, she could easily be lost in a battle… and he liked such a trait. 

Seth threw a kick forward and Izana moved back, gracefully dodging Seth's following punches with a spring in his step- his movements were fluid but Seth didn't relent, flames bursting to life around her fists with each punch but Izana noticed something…

Her flames seemed to be getting even more refined, yes with each punch the flames were getting more powerful. Izana pushed off the ground and into the air quickly, wanting to get some space between himself and Seth but the devil followed up, blasting him with a powerful flamethrower.

'Heh,'

A barrier made of POD appeared in front of Izana and shielded him from the attack, he smiled thinly as he would have quite some time ahead of him… And it would surely be interesting.

It had been two months since Izana had began training with Seth and he was finally satisfied by her current strength. His crimson hair now reaching his shoulders flowed in the morning wind as Izana prepared for Sirzechs to pick them up- by standing in the wind.

Seth was next to him, wearing her maid dress but there was something different about her- anyone could see that behind her normal façade, there was something else… a desire and thirst for battle.

Seth gave Izana a longing gaze, he couldn't see it but he could feel her eyes on him and a thin smile spread from his lips.

"You look at me quite a lot, anything wrong?" Izana asked and Seth looked away, her cheeks painted with a deep red blush.

"No~ Master, it was just that your hair is quite long," Seth replied respectfully, "It looks really good on you though,"

Izana sighed.

"Long hair looks cool on me," Izana said, "Or so the ladies think,"

'I already used the Queen piece on her,' Izana thought, 'Now it's time to look for some pawns,'

There were quite some people that were on his mind and Izana knew it would be better to train them as they were young but that was a thought for another time… A magic circle appeared on the ground and Sirzechs appeared, flashing Izana a bright smile.

"You guys look stronger," Sirzechs said.

Izana had to admit, sparring with Seth every day had made him a little bit stronger- but the level of Aura that he planned to reach was far higher than his current power and Izana knew he had to reach greater heights.

"And your hair is longer," Sirzechs said and appeared in front of Izana, taking a hold of some strands, "You look cool though,"

Izana grunted a bit in defiance; as much as he wanted to throw a sphere of POD into Sirzechs's face- he detested the fact that the devil would just slap it away.

"Thanks," Izana said and looked at Sirzechs, "You have dark circles under your eyes- been working away?"

Izana felt that this was the right time- yes, the right time to get the truth out of Sirzechs and make his brother more defenseless.

"Yep, work's been piling up," Sirzechs said.

"How does work pile up when you're always dealing with it?" Izana asked and Sirzechs let go of his hair with a sigh.

"I don't-"

"Brother, you're thinking a lot about it, aren't you?" Izana asked and Sirzechs felt his throat get dry.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Sirzechs replied and rubbed the back of his head with a smile.

"Your proposal with Grayfia- it doesn't take a sage to know," Izana said and folded his arms, "We're brothers, you are supposed to tell me all of your problems- not hide away and refuse to come to train me anymore,"

Sirzechs was speechless.

"After you left and Grayfia was assigned as one of my maids, I had to pick up my training- because Dad is really busy nowadays," Izana said and raised his fingers up, crimson sparks of lightning bustling around them as a huge orb of POD was formed.

"Wha- so big?!"

"Brother, you were the one supposed to be helping me with my training and I waited for you… amidst the rain, I always waited for your appearance but you never came, You didn't even come on my Birthdays," Izana said and the orb of POD vanished as swiftly as it had appeared.

"I thought you were mad at me, since you only came on Rias's birthdays and didn't talk with me, but suddenly you come up and propose such a thing to me-" Izana said, inhaling some air as he prepared to finish it off… tears were threatening to spill from his wet eyes.

"Brother, I thought you were the strongest in the world but just because of a man that Grayfia loves- you decided to avoid her by avoiding me," Izana said and pursed his lips, "You hate me, don't you?"

The legendary Talk-no-jutsu was in Izana's palms and he planned on using it to the fullest, The technique of Manipulation was truly a foreboding one and Izana loved it…

He loved seeing that guilty expression on Sirzechs's face… It felt fulfilling.
