Chapter 2.5 - DANGER

As we walk closer to the house, we start to see smoke in the sky, but as we walk closer we begin to smell it too...

Before we could reach the house Amos turns to me...

"Be ready to run"

"Why?"

"In case they found us, don't ask any questions yet, just be ready to run"

"Okay," I said with a confused but worried voice

As we move through the trees, I see the house in flames-burning and crumbling into ash. The smoke slowly increasing...

Until suddenly Amos lifts his hand and starts moving them in a circular movement. And instantly the smoke begins to fade into nothing, leaving the black scorch house in ash.

We begin to hear screams behind us and as it gets closer, Amos grabs my hand and runs...

As we're both running at full speed-dodging trees, rocks, logs, etc.

We finally hear the screams fade away until all we heard was silence...

We stop and he looks at me, as he stares into my eyes I can tell he's scared; no terrified, but of what?

"What was that?" I ask

"it's a gornamor"

"A what? what is that?"

"Gornamors are cross-species mindless creatures, they only obey their masters"

"So why did they come for us?"

"Because when prisoners escape from the castle they send those to capture or kill them"

"WHAT?... AND YOU'RE JUST TELLING ME THAT?"

"Keep the noise down, I didn't want to scare you, I thought we would have left by the time it came"

"So you almost got us killed because you thought we would've left?"

"Listen now is not the time to argue, we need to find my brother, he's powerful so I know he can help us"

"Isn't he in another kingdom?"

"Yes so we need to leave now, so we can reach him as fast as possible"

"Okay"

"But first we need a carriage or horse"

"And where will we find those"

"I know a place, follow me"

He turns and starts walking until...
