- the meeting.

no one's point of view

in the bright golden hallway of Olympus, there were seats arranged on both sides of the hallway, for the honourable guests who were about to reach the hall any minute now. Zeus looked at the view from above, his legs laid spreadeagled over the lavish crimson-coloured table. He looked dazzling in his raven black suit, the fabric fitting every inch of his divine figure, perfectly. He gazed at his fellow siblings taking on their seats comfortably, yet there was his beloved brother, still missing. he looked at his watch and stood up from his seat in frustration. I had a deal with him about that, he can't just run away and even if he could then he damn well knows he can't pull up a stunt like that. A contract is a contract. he thought to himself, remembering how anxious Ezekiel was when he sensed the potential danger Zeus proposed to Vincent.

the current situation doesn't need any more hints to state the obvious. the gods were conspiring against one another, all to eliminate this prophecy put forward by the oracle. and it had been consulted by Apollo before the official announcement was made.

"it's time, Lucian. " said the goddess of the hearth, still yawning even though it had been forever since she had woken up from her priceless sleep. her tone was hinting that every other god present in the great hallway was as impatient as her, eager for the great god to start the meeting, and have them blessed with his presence around them. rowena's gaze was fixated on the bronze-colored seat which was empty, for now. her sympathetic eyes searched for Vincent in the crowd, anxious about his state at the moment. she sighed in distress, her fingers fidgeting every minute or so.

"Lucian? " the blonde faced her taller sibling and stared at him, waiting for an answer. a question was eating her from inside and although she knew, how Lucian hated her dear brother so much, she knew he would do nothing to harm him. hopefully . . they were siblings after all.

this time, he faced her, looking up at her. he delicately put the paperwork down on the table and crossed his arms, permitting her to go on.

"Lucian quit the stalling. what's all the fuss about this prophecy and how does it have to do anything with Hades and Ezekiel?" her patience broke the fast it held for days and finally made her speak directly to him, not even the oracle. as if they told her anything.

he listened to her quietly, his gaze not leaving hers for a minute. his seemed distant, zoned out. he was thinking about someone special, someone who held the effect to draw him closer and closer and finally knelt. he didn't expect that person to feel the same way about him but a try wouldn't hurt, would it?

"Zeus? " her voice snapped him back to the present era and he felt somewhat awkward. hestia looked at him with her teary eyes, tears ran down her pale, lightly tanned skin that she looked almost unreal while even crying.

" yes, hestia? oh, don't worry. I've been listening and concluded that you will get to know everything right now, in the meeting. gracias, now if you may excuse me"

he couldn't stand his elder sister any longer, he had a meeting to carry on with the prophecy's announcement of the killings in London and the list goes on.

leaving her annoyed, he walked down the glamourous heavenly staircase, his slender fingers gracefully running down the railings. settling on his throne, he looked at each one of his guests, his sharp gaze studying them as they made sullen faces at the delay of the meeting.

he wasn't surprised at their behaviour, they all seemed so into their life being around mortals that they forgot who the real deal guy was around here huh? Not that I hated mortals, I do fancy mortals. I must say that they are interesting creatures to be around but we are the higher ones and we pretty much make sure the universe doesn't feel burdened by their invaluable existence.

but Ezekiel was once a mortal too right? you fell for him, Zeus. you are contradicting your statements the whole time. thought Zeus to himself as he waited for the clock to hit 11 p.m.

" my respected gods, I will start the meeting no-"

he would have completed his sentence if the blonde hadn't barged in through the huge doors of his residence, hades by his side just muttering curses at his saviour's five upcoming generations.

Ezekiel and Vincent's footsteps echoed in the hallway, whispers and murmurs spread all over the table as guests were now curious about them, well you know the "meeting crashers". Zeus looked up to his butler whom he fancied and adored more than anything or anyone in this universe.

the person was Ezekiel.

" my lord, as you wished upon. god of the underworld is here. " his butler smiled most appealingly, making the great god adore him more. his smile, oh my god. his fucking smile would be the reason for my death one day.

the lightning god just smiled at him and the guests were flabbergasted to find their king smiling today. murmurs went around and gossip took over.

"the lord is smiling today, oh my my. "

" my god, he seems happier today "

" he has a fling with him, I mean you know, you know," remarked Helene, confidently. her tone depicted no fear of her father, she sure did know how to stand tall, unfazed. she said that, looking into her father's eyes which were burning blue now. She was met with a strong glare then and looked at Hermes and pretended to be in a deep talk with him, her brother.

looking at the chaos his smile and his accomplices had created in this room just in few minutes, everyone went silent, some not even daring to breathe anymore after hearing the crackling sound of lightning echo around them.

"Now that you all have finally spared a few hours to stay silent, I introduce you all to my dear brother Hades and well, my butler, Ezekiel. ezekiel have a seat" he yelled scornfully yet so softly in a way that when he spoke Ezekiel's name, his speech immediately softened up.

" shall we begin now? with the prophecy and the potential danger to the lavish line of gods of the old, gentlemen. "

the gods looked at one another and nodded in agreement. it was going to be interesting that night.
