Setting goals Together

It was always the same morning for me,the view outside my window don't change the birds still sang their morning songs and my mum would still yelled from my door waking me up and I would reluctantly wake up do washup AMD breakfast as usual.

It's the second day of college and I really do hope that nothing like yesterday's incident happen again.

The first class today is philosophy and the subject teacher is an old man but his eyes are shining with knowledge and experiences. The topic was about "the philosophy of Life" from childhood till now I was always curious about Life so I listen attentively.

"Life is like a book, you never know what the next chapter is until you turn the page and see for yourself. Sometimes things don't happened to your expectations but at times you get more than your expectations,all our thoughts and actions are correlated to our Lives. Life, it is not just living but a life lived the way you wanted is the actual life" the old professor explained about what life is. And soon the class came to an end and the next class started.

Unlike yesterday,today most freshers are talking to each other.

"hello" a girl approached me, I know her she is the newly elected representative for the freshers.

"hello how may i help you"i replied

"well it's nothing just wanted to know you" the girl replied.

"Ohh...I'm Jessie nice to meet you" I replied.

" nice to meet you too Jessie I'm lulu"

Replied the girl named lulu.

"Are you going for the lunch break" asked lulu

"yes what about you" I asked.

"I am going there too,lets eat together."lulu said.

Soon We reached the dining hall,we took our plates and as were looking for empty table someone called me.

"Jessie...jessie.. Here" I turned around to see who's calling me, turns out it was Cindy weaving her hand and inviting me to join her.

"Jessie this is senior Linda final year" Cindy introduced me to the girl next to her named Linda. She is a tall girl with ponytail wearing a spectacles and seem to have a cold and indifferent attitude. But I have to admit she is really beautiful,well talking bout beautiful she is among the top goddesses of RiverBelt College.

"hello junior nice meeting you"Linda greeted me but still with a cold face. I feel that she doesn't want to engage in too much conversation.

"Did you hear? "

"what is it? "

"come on tell us don't keep us waiting in suspense!"

Meanwhile as we were having our lunch a hot topic was discussed among the students.

"you guys don't know?"

"come on spit it out!"

"listen!! The Dream Academy will open for admission next year!! "

"are you sure?"

"someone tell me is this information legit?"

"of course its 100% legit! I know because my cousin who had been selected for the language teacher told me!" said a boy proudly looking at girls as if telling them, look your handsome dude here can help you join the Academy if you follow me.

"Wowww...your cousin got a chance to work there?"

"oh my God I really wanna study there!"

"What about Dream academy?" I asked as I have never heard of that name before.

"it's a newly established Academy where everything there is equipped with latest technology." Cindy explained.

"the fees are low and is even affordable for even poor people from cast sector.but the qualifications for getting admitted there is not easy you need to have good grades in the entrance exam." supplemented Linda. ( the Central Town is a large commercial town and the town is divided into different sector i.e Cindy and Linda live in central hub also the centre of the town where most of the influencial figures and rich people live. Jessie live in industrial sector where most People are working in private corporates.likewise cast sector is the lowest part of the town located outskirt of town boundaries. There, people are extremely poor,most people there earn money doing manual jobs,do farming and all the miscellaneous works are given to them)

"yes!! And it is said that the Academy have their own currency and all the things from buying books to canteen to accessing libraries and other facilities are paid by that currency." added Cindy.

"yeah it's like a crypto currency,every students are mandatory to apply for credit cards.and you can top up with real money,for instance the price of 200 credit points is 300$ but you can also earn credit points!"explained Linda somewhat having an interested look about the topic.

"in what ways can they earn credit points?" I asked.

"well... You need to topped in any subjects,fir instance if you score 90 points in one subject you get 50 credit points.likewise if you are good at any sports and emerged as champion in any activities you earn cps. And also if you can come up with innovative projects or give creative ideas for the academy to improve they give you much higher cps." explained Linda.

"they also have various departments like fashion and designing, business management ,art and entertainment etc.. Said one student.

"that's why Dream Academy is filled with competition and all the students there are the top of the cream,they hardly have any well students like me.." Sigh another student.

"yeah and overall there are lots of pretty girls there we might get chance who knows" said one student while looking like he is already picturing himself flirting with girls there.

"hahh...ha.. " " in your dreams"

"With a dog face who fall for you" joke his friend.

"well...guys go for the girls we girls go for the principal!" said one girl.

"yeah... I almost forgot it said that the principal is a young man at his mid 20's and is very handsome and dashing!"

"what? The principal is still at his mid 20's!?"

"yes it's true I have seen him and he is so handsome more handsome than most celebrities."said one girl almost drooling.

"that's a great academy I wish I could study there too." I sighed as I'm also interested in this academy.

"well... If we wanna be admitted there we gotta work really hard" said Cindy.

"girls let's make a promise"said Cindy excitedly.

"what promise? "I asked somewhat puzzled.

"let's promise that we will not go to any other university after graduation let's set this as our goal and whoever break this will have to be punished at that time. Agree? What do you all day? " asked Cindy.

"well I can go for it " I said.

"I agree too" Lida said.

"I agree too" join lulu.

"I agree as well! "someone shouted.

"huhh??"we turn our heads to see who it was.

"Becky!! " Cindy called out.

"what happened to you? Why were you absent from the college for the past few days?" asked Cindy to the new comer.

"ohh... I moved into a new house so there were Lots of things that I need to arrange so I couldn't attend the class."Becky replied.

"well so who's this?" asked Becky seizing me and lulu.

"it's our freshers Jessie and lulu" said Cindy.

"Jessie,lulu this is Becky my bestfriend" introduced Cindy.

"well now we are best friends! " laughed Becky.

"Becky...umm.."Cindy called Becky but halfway she seemed to be in hesitating weather to continue or not.

"what is it?" asked Becky.

"Becky di...did Draco troubled you again?" asked Cindy.

Becky went silent and sigh for a moment.

Sigh...."he did call me up last night about 20 times as I dint pick up the call. And later he sent me a message asking for my current address and asking for forgiveness." replied Becky gloomily.

"Becky you can't! You can't forgive him. And you know it was his fault and he always gnash been like that, he's just a playboy, how many girls have fallen for his trick and ruin their college life?you know the answer yet I can't believe you still fall for him."Cindy reprimanded Becky sternly.

"you know from the beginning that things are not gonna work out between you and Draco but you still fall for it!" sigh... Added Linda.

"forget it, I will end our relationship and I will try to move on its not like he controls my life" replied Becky somewhat sounding helpless.

I just stood there like a dumb girl and for a moment I can't believe a beautiful girl like Becky would be the girlfriend of that disgusting fellow Draco, what in the world is going on in the minds of this people? Well I realised its all about looks,afterall nobody cares about what kind of characters and qualities you have they only seemed to focused on outer appearance.

And I don't know about this relationship thing as I never had a boyfriend before and as a fat girl boys often seems to not approach me much,so in the context of love I'm nowhere near beginner i'm totally innocent.

So nothing happened much even on the second day made a new friends,set a goal to study in dream academy after graduation that's all. My life can be summed up in two words "very Bored!".

After class I went home and as usual we ate our dinner and went to sleep. i remembered my dream that night i was admitted in the dream academy along with my friends lulu,cindy,becky and linda we were having a great time there.
