HOW SILLY OF ME TO FORGET,

THAT I AM THE LOVE OF MY LIFE

"Pleasure to meet you, sister."

'Sister?!', you thought trying to make sense of what was happening. 'Focus Elena, your priority right now is not to figure out why your kidnapper referred to you as his sister. You need to calm down and focus on how to get out of here and ask for help.'

You tried to wiggle around, pushing your weight against the roof of the trunk but to no avail. You tried to find something sharp in the trunk through the sac that you were in but it felt like your kidnappers had thought of every possibility and not underestimated your strength. You were trapped. With much effort, you bit through the tape on your mouth and forced yourself to take in long deep breaths.

The extra oxygen did wonders to make your brain work and helped you to get over the claustrophobia.

With much effort you felt the rope around your wrists and feet, it was thick but you could cut through it. They had obviously taken away your phone but you smirked thinking they didn't suspect you to have a smart watch for your safety exactly for these situations.

You pressed a button on the side of the watch alerting Jack of your location on his phone and he'd know that you are in trouble. You then flicked the watch and a little, sharp blade came out from inside the watch and you started working on the ropes around your wrists.

You had received training for such a situation, the ropes were off in a under a minute. You quickly freed your hands and legs and found your way out of the sac and into a big empty trunk. It was locked ofcourse. You cursed under your breath and prepared for the next step. feeling relieved when you found a bobby pin in your bun, you brought your inner mechanic out and started to work on the lock of the trunk. It was a tedious long process, with no light and slight panic resurfacing due to the tightness of the area, but you were determined to get the hell out.

You were surprised when you heard the satisfying click of the lock opening earlier than expected. It felt like the process took forever, but surprisingly all of this had happened in under 10 minutes.

You closed your eyes, recited a small prayer to Jesus, throwing the trunk open as quietly and quickly as you could and braced yourself for the impact as you jumped.
