The only thing that bothers me is that most of his power is not his own. I have to admit that i never read or watched Chainsaw Man so I had no idea what's up with the devils. But the fact that the devils can deny him their power makes it too unstable in my opinion. The rest of the story is great

Yes, demons can refuse to make a contract with a human and can even break it if the human does not fulfill their part of the contract (as you can guess, in that case the human loses access to the demon's power). But there are various ways to permanently obtain demonic power, such as fusion (or becoming a hybrid like denji the Mc of manga chainsawman), which provides various advantages like immortality (and eternal youth). Saying more would be a spoil .

No problem and your review made me understand that I should write a chapter zero to explain the power system of the Chainsaw Man and HxH manga to help my readers (even if I explain in the chapter, it seems not to be precise enough and not contain enough information).
