Well, Harry wants to avoid attention until he has a better idea of what he is dealing with. But do you seriously think that no one will ever notice? Give the fic a chance. Thanks for the review.

He already knows what he's dealing with. He's literally lived it, I doubt things can get so bad this early, and if they can, that's terrible writing when it comes to longevity

sounds like a fake op mc and the thing about multiple pairs is off putting

20 chapters is more than enough time given to reading about nonsense decisions by an annoying MC.. like the entire potter bloodline especially him are not on the magical world's and (voldy's instant kill) radar for years...

I just don't get the point man, his family is on the kill list already anyway. Like just a few chapters back before Hogwarts, they were attacked. And it was showed that they need his mom alive.

what's even the point, he finished his first run by spamming expelliarmus and his broom. That's why I never like a HP fanfic where MC is Harry.

The main reason people read stories like this in the first place is to see the character benefit from his previous life's knowledge of events, or skills, or strength. All hiding what he can do and knows does is defeat a large part of the reason just stories are popular, though not all of it, and guarantee that basically everything will have the readers banging their heads into their desks at how easily he could solve so many problems if he just wouldn't hide his true self. Especially in a setting in which proving veracity is incredibly easy. I could even add that highly talented people are portrayed as automatically being trusted in the Potterverse and that would be extremely helpful to him. You're seriously shooting yourself in the foot hard in a lot of ways. Basically, you automatically render EVERY moment intended to be tense or stressful into eye-rolling idiocy because a toddler could tell you how easily Harry could fix it or avoid it happening in the first place and that he knows it but is actively preventing that from happening.

Not to mention, looking like a hard target makes you far safer than pretending to be vulnerable. To say the least. Especially against people who only understand violence.

That isn't remotely true. He finished his first run by dumb luck and plot armor endlessly intervening. Extra points that in the fifth book (and I think later) he started adding the disintegration curse and exploding curse. Of course, only disarming and stunning ever managed to hit anyone...extra stupid points that the disintegration and exploding curses seem to not have any time from casting to hitting their target and their path is invisible. Yet, they are hardly ever used in combat. <.<

Plot Armor need not be said, but since the spells you mentioned didn't hit anyone, it doesn't change the fact that all he did was spam expelliarmus and ride his broom. So you're wrong.
