Ugh that's playing dirty you know they are both good but if I had to say probably Ais but don't hold me to that as I may change it in the future I really haven't decided yet.

that's why sometimes harem is necessary (since danmachi is a world where polygamy is allowed), but well I'm okay with Ais

i can never understand how some author pick harem stories and turned it into a single female romance that's stupid since the plot in danmachi is mainly about romance heroism harem magic (bell was taught about making a harem by his grandpa since young)

Well well well, yes I do agree with you that Danmachi is about Harem but let me ask you something, with all of the girls in Bell 'Harem' did you ever see him have a romantic relationship with them, surely you can easily say the typical dense protagonist but from the start of the story the only woman he had feelings for was Ais. Yes, he always says that he wanted to go to the dungeon to save a girl and make a harem but that was all Zeus doing literally brainwashing young Bell. And if you want to say that Argonaut(supposedly Bell's past life) was a womanizer and always flirted with women and wanted a harem, Bell, and Argonaut are not the same the only thing they had similar is their looks and will of wanting to become a hero, Argonaut was quite clingy to an annoying point and always forced his relationships with others he always appeared as a clown to the people but underneath this act is a calculating and sharp person that was able to manipulate unfavorable situations to his favor using the limited time and environment, but Bell, as you know, is shy and pure to the point of naivety and even he admitted that he is not fit to the role of strategizing. And the main point in my personal and humble opinion is if you are like me who was reading novels Decades ago you will understand the pain of this thing that's called 'Harem'. I'm not against harem itself, but the way it's written is just a mess and leaves more questions in my head than answers. And yes as I always said I admit that I suck when it comes to romance writing about one and making it not awkward is already hard to think about, mind you going beast mode and starting adding girls left and right without a second thought about the reason they are together or the problems that will arise from this act. It's just not my thing.
