I came to read this after seeing the recent boost in popularity that sports novels have been getting as of recently but the first paragraph of the synopsis really got me. Sorry author but the best at something isn't something you can simply base on your opinions. Your favorite player is the player who does what you want you want from a player and the best is someone who does what is generally desired from a player. In other words, "The 🐐" is one the one who pleases you but the one who does what is needed most in their respective field. Stats speak for themselves, nothing in this world can be identical, truly, there will always be someone or something better than the other. Not a matter of choice or a preference, just because it's your best doesn't mean it's the best. I've rambled on enough and it's time to start reading.
First of all, I'll come clean with the fact that I am the authors friend but believe me, apart from the minimum typos, then this story definitely deserves five stars. The mystery and action is just great with the right amount at each point and the MC, though not the smartest is definitely not careless or stupid in anyway. The portrayal of female characters just does it for me, they are three dimensional characters with actual goals set in life and worth reading about. The way the author also creates strong male characters while managing to make the MC shine amidst them is remarkable for someone as lacking in experience as him. This means that not all the female characters will be forced on him and gives me great hopes for the harem since only few races have been shown so far. Keep going bro, all you need is some more hard work and dedication mashed in with a decent amount of patience and you'll surely be at the top one day. And is the MC a tsundere, just puked my interest after seeing the way he acts around women.
