Yeah, the islands will be converted, and that will be touched on in a future chapter, however it wont necassarily be a peaceful process. The Stepstones will play a big role in this story.

The familial marriage and incest will be a large part of the story as it is very important to the Targaryens culture, however there will be situations where Targaryens will look outside their immediate family for spouses, whether due to necessity or personal beliefs (zealous Targaryens will see their families tradition as an abomination and look for more acceptable marriages.) Minor spoiler here but House Royce in the Vale will be one of the families within the seven Kingdoms that will intermix with the Targaryens, though some branches of the family will still be ''pure'' Valyrians.

I was a little hesitant to post this here as on other sites I post on each chapter includes quite a few images from the playthrough and general art but I hope the story will still resonate here even without pictures. Very true about the dramatic situations the ck2 engine can create. Ive played around 60 years and written around 27 and have not been disappointed in what the game has given me, once the story really starts to get going there are some fairly shocking moments well suited for writing.

Would be a good idea, but I dont plan to introduce any new technologies in this story, and while the events and world will turn out much differently than in canon, the general atmosphere of the universe will remain intact, which I think makes sense since Kings Landing was still smelling like shit 300 years after its founding in canon, the growth of Kings Landing will be represented in the story however.

Having written 28 years of the story and played almost 60(I write the story using the game ck2 as a base) I can definitively say it will be au and it wont be following canon targaryen history, and the future events and generations(names, number of kids etc) will be very different. With that being said, the story will follow the lore of canon asoiaf in terms of technology, customs, and general ''world'' aspects.

I have already written 34 story chapters and several world building ones so there is quite a bit of content to be posted, my only concern is that since the story is posted on other forums/sites with several pictures accompanying each chapter that cant be shown here the full experience wont be possible, but I will post nontheless.
