I think all this was meant to be sad, but it feels justified.
Author def still has a fetish
he would like waving his gay bulge around
dwarven ladies be like
as someone who has, this bothers me way more. the simple fact is that she started the whole thing chaining up Ella and not telling him about why it was happening, then author brushed over the explanation leaving it feeling unconcluded
honestly this is kinda perfect, I still dislike celene for the way she was introduced (seriously did she need to make the slavery a betrayal instead of talking to him) and at this point I think a lifetime of veggies is perfect for her
auth certainly has a fetish
Why ask tho? like she is only first master because slavery
so, ears still ringing, ya boy has a concussion
so do all the fans, no matter how much the author wants us not to, once again, explain why she made it this big dramatic betrayal instead of just... talking to him?
I would be ok with this if they had even one chapter with an explination on why she turned a powerup/training tool into a complete betrayal of trust.
"loving",,, "let him be enslaved by a crazy ho"...
an edit because I was annoyed writing. I care so much because I like the novel, and it annoys me because with the plot I believe they are trying to set up it would have been so easy to either a)modify the plot and screw celen over as the fans want or b)give a better explanation when it happened, just having her be like "boy if you want me to teach you put the collar on" and skipping the LITERALLY CHANING HIM DOWN would have redeemed the whole thing, it would be less words and less effort. but as Is I can't spend money supporting an author who thinks this kind of thing is ok. I am only going back and writing this because I'm having a hard time choosing to drop this novel, I really want to keep reading it in spite of all this nasty garbage because without this dumb plotline it would be amazing but honestly I don't think if the author can't be bothered to either do edits to fix the plotline or listen to fans and let the villain be a villain and get justice then I can't support it.
slavery is generally meh in this kind of novel. but this one takes it to new levels of ass, MC gets slave collared, accepts it stupidly fast, and because of that becomes way less interesting of a character, MC to whipped bitch in 10 seconds flat. he has a loving family who cares about him and his town where everybody knows each other and they love him a lot, also his family accepts it with basically 0 convincing and nobody in town says much and now as a reader I hate them all and want them wiped out by the impending catastrophy that keeps being illuded to. they say all this is "for training" and the collar is even used as an ass pull powerup in the last unpaid chapter to help save face. alternately adding the abusive teacher being face slapped would fix it but I don't want to pay for a story that took this hard of an L so early on, if I get a reply to this review that tells me it happened though I'll pick the story back up because honestly most of the story is pretty good.
tbh I think author was trying to redeem how much most of his fans hate celen, failed for me and I'm just reading comments hoping to see that she gets comeuppance later so I know if I want to continue the story or not.
unless celene is getting put in one, against her will, I really could not care, I need to stop commenting honestly and just skip ahead to the end of this plotline so I can see if she gets screwed over and humiliated (and I stay with the story) or if i should drop the novel.
a good series of events tell her about the slave thing, dark mage gets divine punishment. a bad series of events "yep""
God yes go in and fuck her over somehow
